As far as I'm concerned, Matt you got world renowned cred . The first person to take a crotch rocket through MOAB. That is not a easy title to obtain. It can be done on a 250lb 2 stroke by an experienced rider, but to do it on a 560lb street bike is pretty damn incredible, you set the bar
Changing the handlebars position must make it feel 1000% better . Watching you fly about before with the sport drop bars was insane . Still doesn’t take away from your skill in any way in this video . I’ve spent my life riding trials and watching what you do with this bike is mental 👍
I owned an 08 busa, im 6 foot four, probably 250 lbs or so when i owned that bike, trust me, it aint light. Im absolutely amazed at how strong he is at manhandling that beast at his size. geez kid !!
@@MattSpearsjust for reference, how tall are you? I am 5’8 170 pound I do Enduro on 300 2stroke but also owned a 2007 gixxer 1000 and my brain can not understand how you can do that stuff on a Busa, i had troubles parking the gixxer if the spots were tricky sometimes 😂
@@justaghost3285 It's all about having the body strength to do it. Friend's father had a Yamaha 500, it could buck his 375lb 7'2" body (got to love those old 2 strokes) and I can move that thing around just as easily as I could a 125 and I was 6'3" and between 160 and 190lbs (190 when 18 and doing weight training but still looked like a stick). But I grew up in the country so was use to man handling heavy tools, parts, engines ATVs and dirtbikes.

Dude, every time I watch one of these vids, I'm reminded what an inferior rider I am! Absolutely incredible stuff! These moto-series between this and the 'wing have been some of the most awesome moto content I've ever seen! Can't wait to see what the next crazy idea is gonna be. You should have a million subscribers by now. People have no clue what they're missing out on! I've def been spreading the word.
Wow Matt your driving skills is incredible , driving a machine that heavy and that powerfull on those technical sections !!!!!! leaves me speechless , cheers !!!!!!
You have a fun channel, Matt. That was such a blessing AND entertaining to have a NASCAR crew with you the second half of the ride. That group of Good ole' boys and gals were hardcore.
Hi Matt and the team. Thanks so much for the great adventures in life you provide us.I'm in my 60's and started riding when I was 12.It's great to see the spirit of youth carry on there crazy Ideas and turn them into a reality.Lord knows we did also. You make me feel young again. What you did just there is history.I have seen many guy's and some gals do some amazing things on bikes over the years, but man I think that one just takes the cake.Well done good man.
Matt, I love watching your adventures !! You've got some awesome riding skills. You are an amazing young man, thoughtful, and so respectful not to mention your enthusiasm and passion for what you do . Good job, sir !
Who knew you're a pro level rider?! This video proves it. You could ride a big Adv bike anywhere with the very best of them. Fun to watch the mad skills and creativity. This video also added a great mix of comradery of the outdoor OHV community (the best!)
Every video you make leaves me with the question: What else could he possibly do to top that? Then you come up with the answer. Well, Honda didn't pony up, Suzuki didn't pony up maybe Rekluse will. Any clutch that'll stand up to that kind of abuse gets my vote.
I love listening to the masterful control inputs! Also, props to Kevin, the footage just keeps getting better. Great job providing quality entertainment, both of you. Can't imagine what's next, but we're here for it!
What a legend! I have done Hell's Gate with a SXS. I know that the video doesn't do it justice... you did that climb and much more on a Hayabusa... words cannot express how impressed I am 👍
I was looking at Varg videos and your channel popped up. Absolutely love the positive energy and how Matt has a perma-grin. You've got a new subscriber. You also have me considered modifying my k7 gsxr 😂
the first hill climb video was ridiculous and this is just on a whole different level! you guys deserve all the subscribers and wish your channel huge success
I am amazed at what you and that bike can both take! You're a machine dude hats off to you for riding through there. That's awesome. One thing I'm kind of surprised that has held up on the boosa is the chain, but maybe that recluse is taking some of the shock out of the system? Either way, really impressed with what you've done with it. Keep them coming dude!
That's cool to see the RPM guys help you out. That's a good bunch of dudes right there, and one thing I love about off-roading, as most people will do just that, come to your rescue when you need it.
That thing has got some menace. You make it look so easy mate. Here in Oz I used to ride a XX Blackbird and can't imagine dirting such a big bike, though it did see some long muddy tracks once when I got lost on a road trip with the missus. After wearing mud for an hour she damn nearly killed me... hehe. Love your work Matt and cheers from Sydney - Dave
Loved it Matt, thanks. Nice tire and fork upgrades...this bike has such a nice growl at low revs...I think they should make another Mad Max with bikes/terrain/chases/stunts like these. Me I don't aspire to climb canyons but seeing this does make me want to go touring down country lanes and maybe reaching some unusual camping spot with a ride like this.
14:20 what's this? A couple SxS drivers who's answer to everything isn't just "more throttle"? Love to see it. Can't wait to get out there with my ktm 525 next year.
I absolutely loved watching this video. This has been a dream of mine since I first watched mission impossible 2 in theaters. But it had to be the Busa, just because that's always been my favorite. I've never ridden one though. I have a 750 nighthawk that I think would be pretty fun off-road, but it's almost as heavy as the Busa. And I don't want to have to worry about four carburetors out there in the desert.
The thing about that machine is...and I'm likely preaching to the choir here...is all the low-end torque. It's probably not the worst street bike you could possibly use for these kinds of offroad shenanigans. Granted, you're still a damn madman, but I get where you're coming from, at least a little bit! Would I try it myself? HELL TF NO! Mad respect! I'd say "keep the shiny side up," but I think that ship has sailed! LOL
F**k Yeah, Brother! You finally NAILED IT!! Congratulations!! That's BEYOND A Feat!! BTW, My bike dropped last week, and I 'handlebarred' the adjustable foot peg. No tie-strap could save the poor thing. 🤘😁
You could call this bike the high-abuse-a. Pretty crazy how much pain it can take.
I like that
Hats off to you sir
Highabusa max
More like "High Abuse Her" bike. You are riding Sheena Warrior princess and abuse the heck out of her!.
@CognitiveDissident You sir... Are a genius 😂
