I saw Liliac in October in Columbus, Ohio, and this was their encore. They sound great live, and I liked that Melody would take the time to get set up for every big vocal moment. As for the solo, I feel like this one fits the song. If you want some grander, check out their original "Sail Away." It has my favorite of Sam's guitar solos.

Carousel is a pretty good song despite the mixed reviews. Interesting point on the guitar solo. Liliac may have an unreleased alternate guitar solo version that wasn’t viable for the final version. There’s other great songs on their Madness album as well.
Here are a couple of suggestions that might work following this one: First is Halestorm - Mayhem The second one is Guano Apes - You Can't Stop Me Both have female lead singers with unorthodox raspy voices.
I didn't see any new movie recently but that must be because I'm more of a book person, I'm reading a book written by a friend of mine, and that's pretty cool. As for the video, you were as usual, sunny, you're a ray of light in those dark times, so thank you for that, I really hope you're gonna get well soon (better should be more appropriate maybe, I don't know) !! (I didn't really liked that song though, even if the singer has a great voice)

Nice sound...musically. I like them. Not a fan of the video or the lyrics on this one. Circus theme is a little too cliché (e.g. 'clowns', 'costumes'). Just weird/creepy. That's likely more a statement about me than it is about the video. Authentic. Genuine. Honest. Those things resonate with me and the over the top fakeness of costumes you get with a circus just strikes a chord that's a little out of tune. As someone recently said to me..."Dog, you ain't quite right". Full agreement. I'll proudly own that. I'm not quite right. Good news? Well, I don't have any bad news. I'm good with that. Everyone can use a benign, sterile boring day...week...month...etc. The Carousel' of life can be fun but so is getting off...like coming home after a long trip.
