0:46 got me thinking why we still use ipv4 ? ipv6 is better and adtv right more address etc ? i saw in tutorials too they just ignore ipv6 option . why is that so ?
There are several reasons actually
Most basic one is that the majority of the internet/network users have no idea or don’t care about ipv4/6. They just plug in their modem, connect it to the wifi and boom, done for life.
And also in a large scale it takes a lot of resources to setup ipv6 everywhere which many isp’s don’t have the capacity to mostly. So yeah probably next 50 years we will still be using ipv4 untill we run out of ip cap tables
Even though google has an statistic collection

And you know the strange yet proud kinda thing?😂
India is the biggest adopter in the world. XD
About 72% of the world cap now. Lol truly india is in a great spot xD

@@spantheslayer ohh i was not aware about it take huge resources . thx for reply :) . I think 72% is due to airtel and jio , i always saw ipv6 address on their internet , while my wifi ISP only support ipv4 .
