    Good to start this before studying NAT GW in AWS ..
    They talk about Route Table, Destination, Target etc.
    If we know the underlying concepts this would be clear ..

    at 06:00 u r wrong my friend. port number is useful only when a single host request for different appplication. it may be possible that two different host can use same port number since IP is already different. so wont be an issue for NAT

    Good video for understanding the basics. Thank you for the effort in sharing.
    One thing that could improve is an elaboration showing the difference in the way of how 'Dynamic NAT' and 'PAT' are done. Only shown example for PAT but not for Dynamic NAT.

      Thanks NAT is a gateway in itself as it helps private network machines to connect to internet. Thus we call it NAT gateway which is also INTERNET gateway in a sense. Gateway is a door to external network.

    I was researching on port forwarding usually needs static ip. The network providers in India like Act uses NAT.
    Landed to your video.
    Could you explain the consequences after requesting static ip.
    Reason for the ask is nowadays online gaming needs to enable port forwarding.

    working for nortel networks i learned that Network address translation or NAT is difficult. we need to understand difference between NAT and something somebody else is saying. many people working on it. Nobody is understood! not in this video.
