01 Overview Of HTC One M8 Not Charging Or Turning On

Uh oh, the Lenovo P2 is down due to software issues (but still usable as a camera) and I need my backup phone... but the HTC One M8 won't turn on. I give an overview of the problem at hand.

my htc m8 screen cracked then it turned off and never has turned back on and won’t charge

My m8 still can be charged, but it blinking red light and it doesn’t boot

Same prblmm...it just shows the battery icon and a red light 😢😢...I dont know what to do..😢

Do what I did. I am keeping my M8 as a project phone for the future, but as I had the chance to upgrade for super cheap, I did. So it was my backup phone. The then Lenevo P2 went down so M8 was my backup-backup phone. Then I got the Moto G30 so M8 was my backup-backup-backup phone. As I had battery issues, my daily driver is an Oukitel WP19 so M8 is now my backup-backup-backup-backup phone (aka its my 5th string QB now). But still plan to resurrect it for a 6th time in the future

I know this is 1 year but my htc the lights when you charge is not glowing and i open the back and see that it got disconnected on the white wire and the things its hard to explain

U sure battery cables are in good shape and fully connected?

Definitely try a different charger first, a lot cheaper and easier than messing with the connector

Thanks for the very nice comment, you just made my week!! So quick questions, is red light solid or flashing and by battery icon you're referring to big one in middle of screen? If so what does battery icon show? Empty and not charging? Or full and just not turning on? Sorry for the super delayed reply ad thanks again for saying that, not many do, and that's motivation to keep making videos!

Man do as you said for 10 minutes, then plug it out of the charger port and install again it should work my is the same and its charging up now.
