I have been leveling recipes a lot lately, and have landed on the same conclusion. The sea toad cucumber combo is especially good for the branch as well, if u also level up the trevally sandwich and Skewered cucumber, you got yourself the full menu on all 3 dishes with just 4 ingredients.
Yup that's a good point! The good thing about the recipes, besides the money, is that the Sea Toads and Trevally are so easy to capture. Low risk, high reward recipes that will easily allow you to max out everything you want
@@MrpUberThemes Yeah, definitely not something I would eat haha! It's a good, easy to farm 2 ingredient dish. I knew a second Cucumber Party event was going to happen at some point since it cycles through them, so I just kept planting nothing but Cucumber and having an aquarium with a bunch of Sea Toads breeding. Very easy to max level once you do that, and even on normal nights I was getting ~30-35k
It's funny how this game does not penalise you for serving just one dish. I just maxed out my tropical sushi set and narwhal/porbeagle dishes and never looked back. Both are pretty much self sustaining apart from having to get rice.
You should use Auto Supply rather than manually adding so many. At the end you had 7 wasted prepared dishes. Those are 7 dishes you could have saved and sold the next night (7 * $1000 == $7000). Auto supply will only waste 1. Also, if you would have supplied your branch with a few of that dish, you coulda made so much more. Also the profits he's showing were on Cucumber event day and he's Diamond rank (end game).
This was a video I made after not having played for about a week, and before i knew about auto supply. That being said, I didn't need the money as you can see by how much I had. I have everything but some staff maxed out. This video was only intended to show a recipe that can be used to make quick cash, but yes, for people that need the money these are good tips. Also if you read the description, I mention this is during the cucumber event but was still making good money on normal nights
@@elixirvowns Thanks for the response. I'm curious ,which staff are you using for your branch now? I can't seem to find many that can refill the wasabi. I did find a guy, but he's not good at anything else lol What're you using?
@Captainlonate I was still working on it last time I played, but looks like I have Kyoko as manager, James and Tohoku cooking and Billy and Cohh as the servers. All about level 15. Been playing other games lately so I haven't honestly worked too much on the branch. Will definitely work on that more once I get back to this awesome game!
When you have ingredient prep experts or masters, add servings one by one; the proc chance is per instance, so you can get multiple procs and save big on ingredients (not really a concern for you at this point, but for others)
Very good point! Yeah I had made this video after not playing for a while, and totally made too many dishes for how much time i had left lol adding one at a time will definitely help you save ingredients
This tip is totally useful. Sometime my Bancho's tried it and make a ton of money for further upgrades. In fact, I'm just know that when during the opening time, I can manaully add the ingredient to plus up my menu orders.
This dish has a vegetable to dish factor of 1 (1 cucumber for 1 dish) which is poor, that means your farm won’t keep up with the demand if you intend to sell only max level dishes at end game. Instead I’d recommend dishes with a veggie to dish factor of at least 1.5, my favorite is the Nasu Dengaku (1 eggplant, 1 garlic, 1 olive oil and 1 Miso for 4 portions) it has a veggie to dish factor of 2, sells for $1535 a piece at max level and half of the ingredients are seasoning which you will get tons of by dispatching your employees. I sell nothing but Antarctic Octopus Carpaccio, Nasu Dengaku, Boiled Porbeagle Shark, Narwhal Miso Soup and the occasional Sea Toad Cucumber Gunkan as fillers when my main dishes fall a bit short of 45 portions, my dives take about 5 mins each time at Glacial Area to collect ingredients and I generate about 120k each night.
Yeah there are definitely better dishes, but when I made this video, I didn't know about the whole sending staff in your waiting room to gather ingredients. I just wanted to make a video showing that you could turn just 2 ingredients into some easy cash, which it does. Sea Toads are very easy to catch and you can breed them in your aquariums. Cucumber is easy to stockpile as well if you tend a full garden of them and use the fertilizer that produces more. I really like your advice, though, and will check that recipe out when I get back into this game! Those ingredients definitely aren't tough to come by, especially when you realize that you can send your staff to collect half of them lol
when you have the best staff Raptor/El Nino (service) Yone/Maki (Kitchen) you can do this, because only wasbi grinding will be your job if Raptor is to busy. But I think Auto Supply is the better option..
question to anybody that can help, on special nights how can you get your branch to serve the required dishes, there’s only options to serve dishes by price, taste etc…
I honestly was wondering this as well. I didn't really delve too much into the branch mechanic, but I wonder if setting the operation policy to price or dish will make them cook event plates. I think the branch is the least thing I put time into the game since I already had a ton of money by the time it was introduced
Either change the policy to price or dish, or just give the branch (only) the ingredients for the dishes you want it to serve. In my playthrough I changed the policy from price to taste regularly so they "saved" farm ingredients for dishes and only sold expensive sushi that only uses fish. There's a point, like in this video, that it doesn't really matter how much you make, 2 weeks of gameplay after the main mission ends (or just before) and the only thing left to upgrade are the employees. Weapons are useless since you only need two. Arguably one. Still, an amazing and complete game, for a (much needed) change.
@D4WeeMaN awesome! Thanks for the tip, I didn't really dabble with the branch as I was still upgrading Bancho's to maximize profits. Your point about money end game is true, I barely have anything left to upgrade outside of a few weapon tiers and restaurant staff, so I didn't find it really necessary to care about my branch. Since I already have the Death Rifle and Hush Dart, I don't really need the extra money from it. Totally agree, this is an amazing and much needed game! Very good rogue with some great mechanics that work very well together!
If your farm is fully upgraded and you have cucumbers growing at all times it really isn't bad. Especially if you use the fertilizer that produces more. Just make sure to keep your land healthy!
I think it fluctuates based on a few things like your Cooksta rank and also maybe the rating you got from the night before. Also, faster servers will get food to the customers quickly, so I believe that may also help since the customer can leave the seat quicker. This is all just speculation, but during my time playing, this is what seemed to determine the amount of people to me. Hope this helps!
@@elixirvowns Also lag. If you lag, your customers spend more time there, and thus you get less passthrough. There IS a finite amount of customers, though; you can have a fair amount left on the timer and no new people will come in.
@@KainYusanagi ah, that's a very good point! I didn't think about lag, and yeah, I can see how that can factor into not getting more customers even though you have a bit of time left
Yeah they are 😆 I got them as soon as I saw their serving stats and leveled them up to 20. I basically just had to worry about making Wasabi and helping with serving so they could focus on drinks and cleaning. I try to get food for people close to the chefs to keep them available for dishes at the end of the bar, and they have been well worth the investment to max them out!
I used Porbeagle Shark Sushi. At level 10, it gives 380 taste. It is only 1 Ingredient, which is obviously the Porbeagle Shark, and that can be found in the Glacial Area.
Stellate Puffer Nicogori, you can get it in Chapter 1 (it will take a while) but getting Diamond in Chapter 2 is possible if you have dishes maxed out and a good stock of fish
You can get even better. Get a head start with a little bit of grinding before the end of chapter 1... you will miss out some features but having recipes at lv max and a around 300 Tiger shark sushi parts... helps also max upgrades help on further bosses :)
You will get net profits of ~13K (~27K on parties), which will allow you to get staff for dispatches (enchancement of dishes costs of FUCK TON of dispatchable/finable items only )... I think once you get the vegteble farm you can cook and enchance the more pricey dishes and then your revenue will skyrocket
