I steel have my old Eastpack backpack. Didn't know they made miitary style backpacks! If I find a biger one, around 30-35 lt ,I will buy it imedeately! I have used Maxpedition and other brands , since then but Eastpack is my favorite! Very comfortable and great quality.Totally deserve the price tag. Thanks for sharing!

@@Imyouruncle I searched their site and the have 2-3 models around 35 lt, but only yours and another near 20 lt bag comes close to military style.That being said, they have a backpack at the size I look for,that also comes in military green colour, which is very interesting.Only thing it misses, is a waist strap,to help carry bigger loads.IMO Eastpack is a great Urban or 2-3 days trip backpacks.That's where they shine! They also make similar to Polo style backpacks,which should be great school backpacks too! Have a nice evening and enjoy your new Eastpack!
The small pocket at your back I use for a plastic bag and a small poncho :-) Which reminds me I need to take the poncho out and put it into my new bag....
I guess the pocket on the inside that touches your back is used for keeping important things safe like passport, ID, and some things u always carry but dont use as often.

This pocket on the back - I have same one on my company laptop backpack and it is used mainly to carry all most sensitive belongings, like wallet (if you want to have it in the backpack and not in trousers pocket), identification card, pki card, etc. I'm thinking about buying Helikon-Tex Raccoon. Have you seen or considered this one? I think it do not have this back pocket and straps for skateboard but I think that can live with it :-)

Thank you! The laptop compartment (which is the main "pocket", so to speak) is large and adequate. I wouldn't call it "heavily padded" but unless you skate ramps, your laptop will be fine.

Looks good, i've been eyeing a vanguard backpack for a while but haven't bought it yet because i already have so many...

Does your pavilion laptop from this video fit in the Mil Tec bag you had privious to this one?
You can also roll a jacket up and put them under those straps :)

No, it's more like splash resistant. In light to medium rain, whatever is inside is safe.
