The Dodge Custom 880 is a weird beast built to fill in the gap between the downsized standard Dodge and the larger Chrysler. The 62 model was a 62 Chrysler Newport with a 61 Dodge front clip and a 61 Dodge/Desoto dashboard. The 63 continued to use the 62 Chrysler body but got its own front clip and taillights that covered up the holes where the 62 Chrysler and 880 taillights had been. The 64 Custom 880 kept the 62 body and 63 front clip but got new rear quarters. Many people are unfamiliar with these cars because, at a glance, they look so much like a 62 Chrysler.

I had one of those years ago. Mine was black with white top and red interior. They indeed have always been seldom seen .Same with the 64's. I hope someone saves it. Roof parts probably interchange with dull size Chryslers.

Wow that is a rare car and a great find. Probably worth covering up to prevent further deterioration.

I have a ‘63 2dr hardtop, great cars, so much is interchangeable with other Chrysler products of the period. I hope someone has the vision to save this.

That's pretty cool convertible. The tail light trim reminded me of a 50 Oldsmobile because they went up on top of the rear quarter. The actual pieces don't look alike but you could probably say somebody was paid attention in there Auto design class when they used the 50 olds as an example.

I'm restoring a 63 Custom 880 2-door hardtop. Only 2804 built. The only part I'm missing are the gaskets for the tail light benzels. Sell them to me please !

Hi Bobby. As a 1963 Custom 880 hardtop owner for 22 years I can only give you one advice. Find one at the scrap yard and strip all the parts you can or buy the whole thing as a donor. 10 years ago I took of as much as my suitcase could hold. Greetings from Germany.
