sage i have had 2 vw micro buses a 1979 and a 1967 you sir are a awesome man i myself have always like and had a passion for the vw beetle but have never had a chance to own one yet
Travis, I don't have a VW bus but I have 7 bugs, 1 cunvertable, 1 baha bug and the rest is sedans. You can have your pick and I'll make it so cheap you can afford it.
Be sure to drive to Snyder with your heater on high and windows rolled up, while wearing a coat. It will be almost as hot as working in the shade in Texas.
@@BusWithUs. I don't know how you kids do it in Canada, but there is very little ass swapping in west Texas between the fellows. Wait, did you mean swamp ass? Never mind.
Glad you are back on the bus adventures. There is a place in Asheville, NC called Asheville Vee=dub. Lots of VW vans and at least 2 Silversides. Looks like a place you might like. Pictures on Face Book.
I was going to say that your 671 tuning kit says "617 tuning kit" but I changed my mind, so I won't. lol Hope all goes well on your trip and you can finally drive her home.
Glad to see your videos, I was watching another channel and he stopped producing video on buses and required you to become a patrion member to see the repairs. Thank you
Hey man Kevin here from Australia. Wow you've certainly been busy buying up tools and bits and pieces . Good luck on your travels keep safe and stay well. I look forward to seeing any updates along the way. ✌ Peace man
@@SilversidesSage thank you Sage! Apparently you've confirmed my wife's diagnosis that I need to get hearing aids. Hesitant to do so as I would need to listen to her orders
I know you'll be having fun, but I can't help thinking it would be easier on the nerves just to hire a truck with a long low trailer and drag them home, then work on them in comfort. The sheer amount of things that could go wrong with two long distance driving recoveries is worrying.

One of the best Barn door mechanics lives in Asheville. He's a buddy of mine.
I’ll have to swing by and look at the silversides but I like the VDubs bout as much so it’s a toss up on which to look closer at 🤪🤔
Safe travels, Sage!
Sooo sweet you will be on the road
I would like to be there and watch you and Tyler break in all those new tools. Good luck and you'all be safe.

Anyone know what the crimpex wrenches are? Nothing coming up under that when I search and I think Tyler calls them something else.
Knipex
