Sertings with Volume calibration same for comparison, the umik 2 is at -30db on speaker fader , whereas umik 1 is at -30dB...🤔

Lost me about half way through.
I have the basic Dirac Live on the mobile app.
No videos showing how to properly set up Dirac on RUclips, unless you buy a mic and download on a laptop. Lame.
But good video for those who bought a mic and software, and a laptop. On top of the price of their receivers.

Thanks for the awesome tutorial! Im interesting in using Storm Audio’s cinema filters in Dirac, but don’t see a publicly accessible link. Is there any chance you could provide one? I learned about you all from your appearances on the Audioholics RUclips channel. Really hoping to get a processor from you all my next go around👍

      Hi Ronnzi,
Target curves are available on our website here: www.stormaudio.com/download-center/

So the surround curve you have is used for atmos too, correct?
    Thanks

Hi, If the ambient noise is -40dB for example, do I need to adjust each speaker to be above -20dB when playing pink noise?

Please link the predefined cinema filter design curves to your website. They are not available for download.

I just saw today there is now a link provided. However, when I clicked on the link I got '404 - File not found.' I'm sure it will get corrected soon.

If for example the rear heights are furthest away from the MLP, I should start with those and then the rest of the speakers?

Why is the microphone calibration not done automatically like in Audyssey, YPAO, etc.???? This is ridiculous.

Is there firmware update to support IMAX Enhanced on new movie?

  • @twotraxz

Why does everybody in the instructionvideos use almost straight target curves? If you listen to that result you'll hear that you've damaged the soundcharacteristics of you're speaker brand. Switching dirac on and off will show that you're sound changes completely. This is not the way to get the best performance out of you're speakers.

Depends on your speakers. Some are remarkably flat in-room(meaning no tilt) and following that "curve" may be ok.
