    Thanks Cody. Can you please explain how you get to the page where you can turn off the noise cancellation? I can’t find it on my Apple or Microsoft PC.

    Thanks for sharing! I ran into the same issue and was able to use another, less preferred laptop but will try this out next time I run Dirac.

    Great video, how about when you click on the play button expecting the white noise sound and nothing comes out. No sound at all. It worked till i installed the latest verion, even after uninstalling and going back to old version….still no sound. Any ideas?

    я просто воткнул в аудиоресивер калибровочный микрофон и всё заработало, на ПК есть куча всяческих наводящих шумов и помех, лучше использовать гнездо усилителя.
    I just plugged a calibration microphone into the audio receiver and everything worked, there are a lot of all kinds of suggestive noise and interference on the PC, it’s better to use the amplifier socket.

    Tell me something, audyssey calibrated on 75dB so zero db isnreference level, on my new onkyo with dirac live what is the reference level? 0db? He seems 6db louder than my denon 6500H,

    Hey great video. I was running Dirac on a windows laptop and it was running fine but I had to return the laptop and decided to upgrade to a MacBook. I noticed dirac live 3 has a issue where the mic barely detects any sound on the macOS version of dirac live. Even when I boost the mic gain all the way to +20db (the max it can go) it still barely catches the db level of my speakers.
    Do you know if there is a fix for this on macOS? I even tried my MacBook from 2012 same issue.

      AFAIK, can't be done. I've spent lot of time figuring it out and found out UMIK has this problem for years now and nobody fixed it. Mac+Dirac+UMIK combo just doesn't work. I have Mac Pro 2019 and needed to run Dirac on Windows.

      Just hit the same problem now June 2024. Still no fix 😮. I had to run Windows under Parallels to get it to work on a MacBook Pro M1, and use bridged Ethernet mode to detect the AVR (Marantz).

    Question: If you’ve run Dirac already, but you later decide to change the subwoofer’s crossover, do you need to run Dirac again? Please help!

      Hi! Sorry I missed this but…….. Yes, you need to re-run Dirac.

    My issue is everything is a bad measurement. I have the umik 1. I have no clue why

      You added the calibration file of the UMIK1 ?

    • @SpencersStuffTV
      @SpencersStuffTV 9 месяцев назад

      @@frederikki4575 yes I did. I ended up going with the "bad measurements." I think it's just a bug. Everything sounds great post calibration.

    How exactly do i find that setting? Im in windows settings and typed 'noise cancellation' in the search and nothing came up. I also cannot find it in the microphone settings.

      If you have an audio card like the Harmon or something like that look in that programs menu.

      @@HomeTheaterHobbyistHello, I finally got a umik-1 and I'm trying to run Dirac again but I'm having the same problem. I cannot find where to turn off noise cancellation. I have a Dell PC and using windows 11, I see you used an HP app to do it. Do you know how I can find that setting on my PC?
