Pictou Causeway Series #1 - April 14, 2024

First of an ongoing series. The causeway splits the Pictou Harbour, cutting out 20 minutes of the drive to and from Pictou, Nova Scotia - as well as access to the ferry to Prince Edward Island, which is 7 kilometres past Pictou on the Northumberland Strait.
Weather, seasons and time of day all contribute to some impressive changes in the causeway. Bald eagles, cormorants and seagulls are a few of the common bird life to be seen on a regular basis - but not in today’s instalment.
