Just to clarify buyers the Ram Mount, GPS Mount, USB cable and power cable does come with the standard item the premium pack has the anti theft solution and other items like car holder and case. Cheers - Stu
It looks like from the quick pic that the antitheft advice only stops it being taken off the ram mount. Wouldnt people just be able to unbolt the ram mount instead??

Yes definitely. It's so versatile. I don't use the hard carry case but knowing that the Tomtom is secured to the bike when I go inside to pay for fuel is a bonus. I use the car mount kit in the car and I also like to plan my own routes and follow them on the Tomtom. Great piece of kit in my opinion.
The " Life time world map " is bogus. I own an early Tomtom rider (~$300+) with a large print "Life time free map update" on the box, but Tomtom stop supporting my model. Since, I am not even able to connect for any updates or transfer my routes and waypoints back and forth. So, beware buyer, "Life time" is much shorter than you think 🤔
Non compratelo, ho acquistato ahimè un tomtom rider 550 e la Sincronizzazione con MyDrive e iphone 12 e’ inesistente, quelle poche volte che qualcosa si sincronizza lo fa anche male, sistema di interazione sotto le aspettative, app MyDrive inutile per mancanza di stabilità e connettività , assistenza tomtom inesistente assistenza app inesistente , azienda inaffidabile,una delusione, ci avrò perso una settimana a cercare di configurare ripristinare provare e girate in moto non concluse per la mancanza di stabilità della connettività .
Mi dispiace che tu sia deluso dal tuo TomTom 550. Non ho mai avuto problemi con il mio. Si collega al mio telefono Android e anche al mio auricolare Cardo Packtalk Bold senza problemi. Spero che trovi presto qualcosa di adatto, grazie per i tuoi commenti.

Yes I use mine regularly in the car. It has a separate mount for the car with a suction cup.

Sorry, I'm not sure. It's been a while since I had mine plugged in to the laptop but it updates automatically over my WiFi anyway.
Is it water proof?
Yes Pat. I've used this on a full days riding in a storm in Scotland, not a problem.
