लाल फ़ूड कलर की जगह रंग वाली लाल मिर्च डाल सकते हैं। इस पाउडर को कॉर्नफ्लॉवर के साथ मिला के आलू पर छिडक के कोट कर दीजिये। फ्राई करने पर इससे रंग भी लाल आएगा और टेस्ट भी बढ़ जायेगा। दूसरे लोगों से रेट भी ज्यादा रख सकते हैं।
