This honestly sounds like Mario Kart 8's style of music except noticeably a lot more jazzy, especially with the brass shakes and falls and the drum solo.
The probable reason for why you can hear the drums in the background of the bass channel is because they were recorded at the same time in separate soundproof booths at the recording studio, but drums are just SO LOUD that the microphone for the upright bass still picked up some of the drums. If it had been an electric bass guitar, a microphone wouldn't have picked up the drum sounds through the air.
Yeah, they absolutely were recorded together - this is very common studio practice. It's likely the drummer was behind a fortress of baffles and the double bassist was as far away as possible but yeah, drums are loud af. Preferably, there is a side-booth to put the bassist in (or drummer if they fit) so there ain't no spill but I doubt Nintendo's in-house studio has that, that isn't a SUPER common feature - pretty expensive to build a WHOLE extra acoustically treated sub room.
@@robwarriors62 Do we know if Nintendo has an in-house sound studio? Most game developers use recording studios not affiliated with the game company, and often this is stated so in the game's credits. Like, for example, Valve uses Pure Audio in Seattle for voice recording. Or at least, they did for the Portal games.
Hmm, I think they might although it should be easy to find out. In all their music behind the scene vids they are in the same orangey studio - Considering a lot of their music has made use of live studio musicians I would bet that they do.
I did not know this game had sequenced music at all. Probably the most random game you deconstructed so far. I have to wonder what other tracks are possibly able to be deconstructed in this game, though I don't know since I've never played this game before. Also, finish Kiosk Demo!!
If you like jazz like me I'd recommend looking into Kirby's Dream Buffet, if it can be deconstructed, then it would be a treasure for you! But I am doubtful if it is sequenced or not :/
The tracks were already separated in the game files for some reason. It's more difficult than it sounds because not only are all the audio file names just a bunch of random numbers but the individual tracks themselves are split. After lots of time checking every audio file (636), only 2 music in this game are separated like this. The one in the video and the main theme. I believe they just did this for dynamic music, it means that some tracks get muted depending on what you do in the game.

It's kind of like a pairing of Super Mario 3D World's style and MK8's, and its great.
More jazzy than mk8 is when it gets too jazzy
Yeah, the swing feel on this one is insane
I forgot this game existed 💀
I forgot this game had music 💀💀💀
I love how during the bass section you can hear the drums but it sound like if it was on an other room

This theme slaps way, WAY too hard for this game 💀
This sounds kinda like a mix between Super Mario Odyssey and Mario kart 8 music, along with maybe a hint of cuphead in there as well

It's not sequenced, it's stemmed. Basically means that each channel is rendered before put into the game.

Me waiting for the 10 second animation of lakitu painting my tires to finish:

And possibly quadraxis

Request: Nokia Arabic ringtone
Request: super mario galaxy too bad oscilloscope deconstruction
Are these stems streamed or sequenced?
They're streamed
This is obviously not sequenced. Anyone can tell these are real instruments.
You should do the part for the sanctuary fortress once you reach further into the fortress in Metroid prime 2
Dude how are you able to do this?
