  • Pastitsio Greek beef pasta bake
    250 g of bucatini
    200 g of cheese
    salt to taste
    200 g of feta cheese
    For tomato sauce:
    4 tbsp. olive oil
    1 onion
    400 g tomatoes
    1/2 kg. minced meat
    5 p. Oregano
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    salt to taste
    For white sauce:
    80 g butter
    80 g of flour
    600 ml. milk
    2 eggs
    nutmeg
    salt to taste
    Method of preparation
    Boil the pasta al dente and drain the water.
    Place in a baking dish. Mix with feta cheese.
    Heat olive oil in a pan.
    Fry onions, add minced meat for 3 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and boil.
    Simmer for 3 minutes.
    Add salt, oregano and cinnamon.
    Pour this sauce over bucatini.
    Prepare Béchamel:
    Heat butter and fry flour, pour milk and bring to a boil.
    Stir with wire. Bring to the boil.
    Add nutmeg.
    Pour the sauce over the tomato sauce with minced meat.
    Cover with grated cheese and bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees in a preheated oven.
