I got the idea in the gym yesterday and was like why not. After trying for the first time yesterday I googled front squat into a overhead press since I have never seen it done before and this came up. I feel like this is the burpee of weight lifting.

Not really most of cross fits movements are already well established. They just gimicked the hell out of , strength, flexibility, cardio blah blah, whatever their "sell" is.
@John K that's one way to look at it, in my view it's a highly useful exercise that helps the athlete summate momentum. By the way I despise Crossfit (just in case you think I am championing their method)

its only for employees so unless you know someone who works there you're out of luck. But honestly stick with Golds or Axiom...Much better gyms ;-)

I use wrist wraps sometimes when my wrists bother me during lifts like this.
I like to do these explosively for a good full body movement 👌
