2 months ago he said in an interview he tried out for star but they passed on him because he was 4seconds a lap slower then deegan.

The KTM 250 team has been a huge disappointment they do not win and have not in a long time. This kid made a bad choice for money.

C’mon A Ray… you’ve been racing dirt bikes most of your life (I assume) and you have no idea how a guy like factory KTM rider Taylor Robert practices, trains and makes a living racing off-road?

I bought a 2021 yz250f and it blew up after 7.5 hours on it… bought a 2022 KTM 250 SXF instead and after 90 hours on it not a single valve was out of spec. after riding yamahas my entire life and made the switch to KTM, theres simply no denying that KTM bikes are superior in every single way.
I have read your comment 10x elsewhere. I understand that you had a bad experience but do you have some sort of agenda here? Hoping someone at Yamaha sees your story and sends you a refund? 🤦🏻♂️
The only problem with the Yamaha is that you have to be careful when changing your air filter and not getting sand inside your engine. It’s harder with the new airbox with the reverse engine but if you do it well, the engine is good. Anyway All brands have there good and bad.

You did something wrong then and it’s also highly unlikely a bike with 90 hours was perfectly in spec. This seems more like a hater than an actual bike owner experience.
Yamaha is known for their durability. That is one of their strong points. There are outliers where ranom thiings fail, but there are also people that do something wrong (i.e. lack of maintenance or allowing dirt into the engine through the air filter, poor riding habits, etc.) It's funny that you can say you rode them your entire life with only one issue, and immediately say that Yamah is inferior. If you're trying to just blow Yamaha out, you'd do better by just lying and saying that all of your Yamahas blew up right away. If a brand sucks because one bike blows up, then that means there are no good brands out there.

The only reason he chose KTM is because he would've been the low man on Star racing Yamaha. Deegan, Dax & kitchen are all a step above him.
you say that …. maybe dax is faster but he makes mistakes and crappy starts , juju beat him fare and square two rounds in a row .
I’d argue juju is better than Dax. Even before Ktm he was a threat to Dax on lesser bike. Dax makes a lot of mistakes. This kid as of right now is consistent.
