    Thank you very much for this. I have been completely baffled by both the software itself and the (NOT) help file, but your explanation makes it all perfectly simple.

    Thank you so much for the tutorial!!! I have watched it 10-15 times probably before i was ready to learn it, +probe was connected in reverse wiring. It is super simple now when i tested it but something was blocking me to start slowly and learn. THANK you :)))

    Which submarine was this video filmed in? All it was missing was the sonar ping.

    Hi Daniel. Great video. Probably the best video I've seen yet of probing in UCCNC. I find their manual very lacking, so use their forum & youtube to help me find my way. Cheers.

    Which model probe?

    So I try to set up a corner probe but I can't see where can I set up the wall thickness of my mobile probe? In my situation have a probe wall thickness of 10mm but by default is 20mm I think

    Hi, do I need any files other than the sample macros from UCCNC to run the probe functions exactly like you are showing in the video?

    Question for you. I have all working just fine, but struggling to try and get it to retract a specified distance. ie Probe Z azis, zero axis and retract 25mm. It just retracts whatever distance the probe was from the surface it was probing before it started.

    Hi, great video! Those features are available in a UCCNC without custom scripts? Or do I need extra scripts.. where can I get them? Thanks

    Thanks for this Daniel. I struggled to figure out the settings to make probing work.
    One question : at 5:32 when you enter X0Y0 to move to the X0 and Y0, would hitting the Goto Zero button do the same thing?

    • @tomahawkcnc5583
      @tomahawkcnc5583  2 года назад +2

      NO , in the std uccnc macro for that button it would goto X0Y0Z0 and if your z was bed as mine always is it woukd crash into stock . I have chsnged my button to Goto XY Zero

    Hi Daniel. What version of UCCNC is that? Doesn't have the same layout as mine, which I just got and understood to be the latest version. I think the info is the same but harder to follow.

    Hi Daniel.
    Thank You for this video very well done. But I have a question about the angle probing. If I put a workpiece that is not parrallell with X and Y axis, does angle probing compensate for that misalignment with X, Y axis. When You are running a G-code in UCCNC.
    Best regards to You from John Eriksson in Sweden

    • @tomahawkcnc5583

      No it tells you whast tyhe angle error is , in uccnc you need to add gcode command G68 A0 B0 R45 where A and B are the X Y centre of rotation and R is your angle error ( in the case above 45 deg )

    Many thanks Daniel.
    Please, on my UCSB bob, does the black npn cable connect to any available Input or Output point?
    The probe instructions indicate that the yellow cable goes to +5v to +12v and blue connects to ground. My challenge is with the black cable.
    Many thanks in advance

      Normally the black wire will output +ve so it goes to input +ve and input -ve to earth on the ucsb

      I was challenged understanding the wiring diagram in the UCSB manual.

    Hi - Does uccnc software have probe concentricity compensation similar to the Crafty CNC operation

    • @tomahawkcnc5583
      @tomahawkcnc5583  2 года назад

      No for that use probelt plugin from crafty cnc

      Was a poor quality vers probe , had about 5 failures before giving up and throwing them in the bin . I use the ittp probe from Hallmark these days.
