But I don't think ALI is better, (nor tht Ailee is better) because both have their own singing capability in which one might be better than the other (in terms of belting high notes, notes transition, vocal range, pitch control, etc). It's just a matter of preferences, so we can say that they are on par with each other. But most ppl would prefer Ailee's tone and singing technique, which is why Ailee gets recognition (thus can sell internationally) more than ALI.

Are they pretending to be confused over the identity of Ailee behind the mask? Because I find it really hard not to be able to tell it was Ailee all along from her performances. When she said "One two three four" in one of the perfornances (3rd round I think), it was so clear because of the accent. Also, Ailee's voice has more weight and when she belts you can definitely tell it's her because her voice isn't really common among singers IMO.

I know right. It's kinda odd. But actually, I think ive been a KPOP for a long time that I got used to some celebs' over-reacting or exaggerated actions on TV Shows. I mean, there are times they all try to make funny faces, random jokes and forced laughter to get screen time, and to entertain the audience. I actually thought I was the only one weirded out by their acting like they did not recognize Ailee's voice. But I understand the judges/hosts because it would have been boring and uninteresting if most of them immediately admitted to recognizing her voice. It's just really awkward for me in some way. I'd choose IS2 from any other singing shows any day. I love that show. Ailee+Myungjin for life.
