- Trail Previews Episode 004 - Nesbyen, Norway.
Hallingspranget is the recent years most incredible construction in Norway. It's a mountain bike trail that goes from 1090m above sea level and down 17 kilometers to Nesbyen. I rode it twice, once on a foggy day, and once on a sunny day to combine them into what I consider to be potentially the best trail of all time.
It's a blue flow trail, so its technical challenges are limited, but you get to enjoy some of the most wonderful views, and you get to work out some muscles you don't know you have.
Here you can book a shuttle bus and rent bikes:

Trail is now open!
Rode it with my son last summer. Family friendly(sportive that is) but speed, line choice and jumpy rocks make it fun for all. And the scenery is spectacular.
It's an amazing place in general! Like you, I rode this trail twice and it's unlike anything else I've ever ridden. The length combined with the views is just unbelievable!
The trails on the other side of the valley are amazing as well! Den Ravinde is my favourite trail of all time.
Rode that one last year, almost fell asleep 🤣
Def need to try this one ☝️
jeg har ventet på denne videoen! Nydelig👍
Epic, would love to ride there some day
Flott vid!
Kjørte ned der i dag. Så ser jeg denne videoen. Knall.
Nydelige bilder!
Har de gjort om på starten av ruta? syklet den for 2 dager siden å da måtte vi parkere 400m fra starten av løypa og den startet ikke slik i det heletatt
Zith Aura Roth was here!!!
@@MarkusFinholt takker 🙏
Perfect timing that I found your channel! Will hit this trail and also will bike in Sogndal. Is trailguide the best app to find trails?
Yes! Trailguide is the best app for finding trails in norway. It has a bunch of different features like heatmaps or even other maps integrated into it.
Jeg så på den Trysil videoen din men jeg lurte på om man skal betale noe slags inngangs billett eller noe for å sykle på Trysil?
Neida, det er gratis 🤟
Awesome man ❤ which action camera did you use for this video? Also which settings did you use for this video?
Gopro 11, 5.1k hyperview, stabilization on, LOGB=600, DAMP=40, ev comp -0.5, min max iso 100, max shutter 180/s, 5500k, low sharpness
And I color graded it with Finholt LUTs: www.finholtproductions.com/store/p/gopro-luts-by-markus-finholt
Må prøve å få satt snuta dit ser jeg for 17km med flow er ingenting å skimse av. Terrengsykling for meg er først og fremst rekreasjon og det der så helt herlig ut.
Får utforske den shuttlebussen, og campingmuligheter i området.
Trail open this summer?
Yes, they are working on it now. Finished in about a month or so.
Perfect we are a few emtb friends from Sweden who plan to visit location in start of July. But from what I understand there is tones of trails in the are around.
Hva er gopro settingene dine?
5500k WB
100 iso min
100 iso max
low sharpness
stabilization on
5.3k hyperview
Bruker gopro labs for en del av settingsa under.
EXPX=170
DAMP=25
BITR=180
LOGB=400
NR01=50
@@MarkusFinholttusen takk. Fortsett med de gode videoene!
Er du norsk
Wow its a sand piste.
Punga når det var 5 km igjen😭
should have paved it /s
so much work for such a boring autobahn :) ?
Too flat, too boring, too many possible shortcuts, thus not suitable for competition.
My god it looks boring
