I don’t even consider expecting anything from Wilson. Even at this moment I’ve yet to hear something positive about Wilson these first 6 practices. Koonce I do hope he can pick up where he left off.
The Raider's defense, which was #1 in scoring once AP took over, is intact from last season. The offense is learning a completely new system, and they just started pads. Just watch the highlights from AOC last season. He's got a good arm, is accurate, reads defense, and does just about everything that you need a QB to do. He's not a runner like some other QBs, but who cares? He was told to stay in the pocket. You guys are going to be shocked when you see him play this season. If they don't win at least 9 games, then it would have to be due to injuries.
It’s funny because everyone acts like Greg Roman is the only other coach that was brought on. This team is so much more than Jim and Greg, just keep doubting that will suit them well
As a Charger's fan I have a wait and see mindset, the defense has been the main issue for a while btw. Thanks to Telesco we have more holes than swiss cheese.
Oh yes you do. How else will you justify that Herbert contract for a guy that's accomplished exactly nothing? Herbert has been nothing BUT hype so far. I hope Harbaugh can sort the Chargers mess. Chiefs fans like me would love to compete in a tough division again.
@@spacehonky6315 It's obvious what Herbert does for the Chargers as soon as you see what they are without him. If you look at the stats of backup QB's for the Chargers over the last 3 seasons it's clear to see how much he elevates the trash roster Telesco put together.
The raiders were not hoping for a very injury prone lefty. As a raiders fan I'm glad we didn't reach or give up multiple 1st rounders for the 3rd or 4th best QB in the draft. Next year is a good year to be looking for a vet qb or If adian is the guy ala Brock Purdy or tb12 (who was really bailed out by team ball his first few years and didn't really look elite until about season 6) wild card is probably ceiling but the chargers are going into some rebuild, and the Broncos might pick 1st except the panthers might be the first team to finish last 3 times in a row. We have good personnel to keep kermit15 running and gunslinging and putting him in position to make errors. The media loves the jets and Chargers ... Prepare for disappointment there...
The Chargers had the worst offensive line and the 28th ranked defense last year. Did they do much to remedy this? A coach and a new facility are not enough to move the needle that much. They have a solid QB, but the oline, yeah they did a few things but Oline are rarely plug-n-play. We'll see if that oline holds. Their RBs are Edwards and Dobbins? Wrs are McConkey and Palmer? Who's their TE again? 28th ranked defense, so Bosa and Mack are cool, but did it work? Unless Harbaugh is suiting up himself, I dont think he's enough to think of the Chargers as anything but 'building'.
Ever wonder how some teams can go from bad one year and the next year make the playoffs. It's usually because of coaching and different schemes not talent, most teams have enough talent but the coaching is the problem. The chargers also added some key pieces for depth which is what they lacked last year
@@brianhenry7983 In football? Nah, it's usually a great draft and a free agent or two that change the script. A coach can help but Harbaugh alone with that defense and those skill players? (Minus Herbert). I'm guessing you are a fan, temper your expectations.
@@brianhenry7983 It was a solid draft. They needed Alt in the worst way and McConkey is going to be a solid player. They are definitely moving in the right direction. Their defense should be improved but again, it's still a work in progress. There is no such coach in the entire world that can fix a team this broken in his first year. People are deifying Harbaugh, and those people (Chargers fans) are in for a very disappointing season if they think this is now a good team because of a coach.
The thing with the Raiders offence last year was the run game was not suited for the lineman playing on the scheme. Id say all were better suited for a zone blocking scheme vs the power they ran from JMD. Jacobs as well. One thing Getsys offense does is bring that back. Parham was also a RG all through college and made the switch in the pros. Hes back on his natural side. Good shout on giving Miller his props tho!
I agree with you mina, about my raiders team. I think the defense will be probably top 10 in the league. Especially our d-line i think is going to be nasty. But i think our offense out side of davante will just be ok though.
Raiders have better skill position players, Chargers have the better quarterback. The Raiders defense pushes them up to 2 for me. Chargers have a lot of questions on defense. Broncos lost a lot of their core players and have nothing but questions on LBs, D-Line, QB, RB and WR at the moment, but also have the most interesting squad because of the unknowns. I think the Chiefs offense has the potential to be scary good and their defense will be pretty solid if the front seven is as productive in generating pressures as they were last year. Would kinda love for Chris Jones to get his 20+ sack goal.
One big key for the Chargers defense: Staley preferred pattern match versus Minter tendency to play pure zone. Whether the players weren't capable of it under Staley or they weren't taught well, I have faith in Minter's approach. Players will be able to make faster, more simple decisions presnap. Defense is key for the Chargers and though it may seem like there are lots of holes I would argue that to be false. Staley’s inability to scheme based on player’s strengths made the Defense as a whole look bad and great players look meh. But there are some dang good players on the Defense who are going to succeed in Minter’s scheme. This culture shift and gaming mindset will surprise many analysts and will see the Chargers contend for the West and the AFC championship in Harbaugh’s year 1.
Watch how well the Chiefs passrush improved or not because that will be the key factor how well they'll deal with the Sneed loss since they decided to re-sign Chris Jones rather than L'Jarius.

How they didn't realize that before the monumentally huge failure trade for Adams is beyond me. Mark Davis needs to sell the team in order for things to change for the better.

Mina you literally did a 180 in a week on Bo. Have some balls lol
Broncos Country LET'S RIDE 🐎
This is the straight hopium podcast. All these teams are bad! Chiefs good! Easy
Can't wait for my broncos to be in the super bowl after 10 years
Go 2034!! Could happen.
@@pxrays547 Only if Mahomes retires in 2033
Cannot wait for Jim Harbaugh to try and run an offense without frank gore to carry him.
Gore was beautiful to watch, in style and production. But Edwards and Dobbins complimentary tandem will combine for near equal value
@@StocktonSmurf Gus Edwards has never had a 1000 yards and dobbins is injury prone. They are NOTHING compared to Frank gore.
@@walkerdefaul8487 I don’t care if you see it now, just know you could have seen all this coming
@@StocktonSmurf going to enjoy telling you “I told you so” here in a few months.
@@walkerdefaul8487 omg i dont care about you or your opinion AT ALL, im turning off your notification because I have shit to do
This is hard to watch, both are great, but there is no chemistry and its sad compared to other guests.
Mina.... Really?
Love you; you usually are on top of the real dope about teams you analyze. I question this conclusion.
I will take 11+ over 7- any day any way. Go Bolts
Chargers are known as Chokers, no new facilities are going to help them win. They are 🗑 and always look like an electrical outlet...shocked and surprised they suck
Yall came to Vegas for a lackluster first season like a change of environment suddenly gave you playoff contentions??? Again the delusion of you raider fans is why you are the most idiotic people to have conversations with.
Raiders sweep bolts,we are making playoffs
Until the Raiders realize they weren't an overpaid WR away from a Super Bowl two years ago, they'll continue to exist in mediocrity. First Randy Moss, then Antonio Brown, and now Davante Adams. How they didn't realize that before the monumentally huge failure trade for Adams is beyond me. Mark Davis needs to sell the team in order for things to change for the better.
Nobody is even close to KC
Complaints of Greg Roman were mostly due to Lamar lol
Why is he annoying kicker? Is it because he has an opinion or a belief or is it the fact that you can't read or comprehend a speech? This was a good program until he had to throw in a personal attack against butcker. That was disgusting!
jm sooooo gay
Mina is really smug
I can't wait till Bo Nix prove all you haters wrong. I been a Broncos fan all my life, and nobody will talk shit about my Broncos. If you do, I will put you in check
He gonna prove us right 😂 they reached to draft him he as old as Herbert but is a “rookie”
Lol, okay man.
@@MrDavidknigge Are you a Bronco hater?
Broncos have a backup, a bust and a rookie as their potential QB room, and they don’t even have the roster to win 8 games
@@jeronwashington1536 Honestly, the donkeys are not nearly good enough to hate. Their fans deserve all the misery. Sean Payton will never win another playoff game.
Can we stop with the "great but annoying kicker" garbage! He's not annoying. He is a man of faith, not some leftist kook!
Nah, he rolls with Josh Hawley. That makes him weird.
Most Catholics don't act that way.
Raiders getting under valued...they gotta chose the young qb doe from week 1 for their future...otherwise they may stink again
I used to think Mina was a actual student of the game...the CHARGERS are not the team of TURNER, MCCOY, LYNN, OR STALEY .... NEW STAFF, NEW DEFENSE ENTIRELY, NEW YOUNG DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR, AND THE TOP CONDITIONING COACH IN SPORTS BEN HERBERT, along with a enthusiasm unknown to man HAHAHA. BOLT UP. ...Lot's of crow to go around LOL
Same old song and dance every year from the media and their fans regarding the Chokers!! We will be looking for any kind of cheating now that Harblow is their HC!!! See ya at Arrowhead West!!!!😂
Yeah, Raiders are taking the AFC West and the rest of the AFC
Dream on. The Chiefs are winning the Super Bowl again and again until Mahomes quits.
Wasting Gregg on the AFC West
Queen of the beta liberal male sports fan 😂😂😂 trump2024
The lady doth protest too much, methinks. 😂😂😂
My Raiders will be top 10 defense. Stop sleeping on AOC, he’s getting a full camp and look better shape. Last year he was a rookie, give him a break. We will prove everyone wrong just watch because we coming for them heads
