Finally, we were waiting for a new video. I like how you added, in the beginning of the day for a picker like how you got up and drank coffe and got into car that was a great little extra to show us how pickers start their daily routine! Keep making videos you have a supporter. I start dairy/meat/perishables on the 30th cant wait to start!
Appreciate it. Yeah, I've been learning freezer and things have been kinda busy. This was supposed to be a order selecting vid but I got a lift on the day I planned to film. The next video will be order selecting in the freezer. I'm going to be making more content and I plan to be doing live q and a events as well.
Nice job. I like how you put the empty pallet in the rack so you have to move it again later.
@@BuckDaily Or maybe someone else might get it for me. Or I'll just put another empty one on top of it later.
@@xqeze or the new hires go through and get them at the end of the night. I was just letting you know I see you half assing your job like everyone else lol I do the same thing because it’s every man from himself. Nobody knows how to work as a team.
@BuckDaily There's just no good place to put them, and they don't give you time to take them anywhere else. It's not half ass it's just how it's done. Eventually, yes, maybe I might need to move them.
I see it as like the trash at home. You don't take out the trash every time you put something in it. Whoever fills it up takes it out. It's just luck of the draw.
We also have a pallet guy whose job is to just go and clean these out. So it creates a new job. It is really a management issue, not a lift issue.
@@xqeze technically you’re supposed to stack that as you go and bring your empty pallets with you to the pallot pick up area on your way by or stack them neatly in an aisle or two. Also you don’t leave your garbage all around the house to avoid putting it in the trashcan lol There’s a good chance you have to fill that slot and you are making more work on yourself moving it twice. Do what you do, though it’s all good.
Thanks for the video, I work in Freezer sometimes as well and am a forklift trainer as well..so all this nasty pivoting I see isn’t great but do it myself too often..don’t like seeing ya put empty pallets in other pick slots cuz then the cycle will just continue..assembly needs those pallets too..also what’s up with no wrap stations to throw it away at, looks pretty bad on your machine like that..am glad you do take pallets out with forklift usually so that’s a 👍
Yeah I don't have alot of seniority on this shift, so I haven't been getting a lift very often. I'm getting a little rusty. Once I get warmed up my pivots are on point and im much smoother. People always give me shit about the wrap but I try to wait till I'm next to a bin or my break to throw it away. I don't go out of my way to get rid of it. There's a pallet guy that comes through and picks up those pallets. I'm also use to doing that because there's alot of empty slots in produce where I learned to run a lift. You are right though, experienced operators in freezer don't do that because there's fewer empty slots. I don't know what assembly is we don't have anything titled that here. Appreciate the feedback though.
@@xqeze it’s all good dude every warehouse has different situations..when I say assembly I’m talking about pickers like the ones that can play music on their Bluetooth speakers, must be nice. We’re not allowed to play music..nice U have someone taking those pallets out as well..and like your monitor as well, much better touchpad system than we do
@Wayne G The pickers typically use plastic pallets unless we run out. In my other videos, you'll see me using the plastic pallets. That's what the guy in yellow was asking me. He's new to the freezer and was asking where the pallets were. The pallet guy hadn't put them out yet. We just ship the wood back to the supplier or use it for recieving.
Nice video, i really wanna get my reachtruck certificate so i can do more than just picking or controlling goods in our warehouse. We here use Still sitdowns, it does look like you have way more space to put your wrap. Here they just put it on the roof and then dispose it 😂😂
It really bothers people when they se me driving around with so much wrap. Most people toss it immediately. It doesn't bother me too much and saves me a little time by holding onto it.
5:05 so you’re the replen guy who’s damaging the boxes
Sometimes. It's part of the job.
If you ever get cold from driving with the lift, you could get a thick plastic or cardboard slip sheet and you can carve it the shape of the opening of the lift when you walk into it. It will be a shield that will block the cold from hitting your legs and toes when driving with the lift.
I actually tried that once. I tried using stickers as a hinge. It fell off pretty quickly. It worked when it was still attached. I'm acclimated to the cod now. I don't even notice the cold anymore it just feels normal now.
Been waiting for an xqeze video! clean work
when's the next picking video? ;)
I'll be releasing a freezer picking video Monday morning.
Don’t you hate when you grab the wrong pallet out of the air?😂
As a filler I appreciate that you cut off the plastic lmao, some of our guys just say fuck it
Np
I don't know about you but if I get up to dirty dishes in the sink my wife is going to go berzerk lol.
I don't do dishes.
Why is my ware house missing legs and yellow safety poles 😂 that’s right we got sued
Good stuff 🎉
Thank you good sir "top hat emoji"
@@xqezeyou are pure cringe
@jzila9900 I really appreciate that. Means alot.
@@xqeze ur very welcome "finger emoji"
@jzila9900 Yeah I'm number 1
Do some pickers take their music boxes with them or is it the warehouse thats playing fire music? 😂
It's the pickers. I got headphones, but some bring in huge Bluetooth speakers and play their music as loud as possible.
@@xqeze the worst kind of people lol they always say headphones dont fit them bs
@@xqeze Hey I have interview for frozen pick. They require a 125 cases an hour to meet productivity. After that its a little more lol is that ez or what
Great video I’m really trying to work on a warehouse
I wish you luck. God speed!
Should be stacking those empty skids. It makes it easier for the next guy doing the drops.
And pack the cut off shrink wrap in the foot well and smash it with your knees. I only say this cause i froze my ass off standing on a forklift for 10yrs in a freezer.
Solid video though.
I've done that and everything else with the wrap. I just try to throw it away more often now so I don't have to mess with it. As for the pallets sometimes I do sometimes I don't. Appreciate the comment though.
What do you use for your camera? I would love to pick up one of those to start recording my picking sometime. Awesome vids bro, keep doin ur thing
I tore a ordro 7 appart and put it in my hat. Thanks bro. Hopefully I can make some more like these, but management started crackin down on cameras in the warehouse after they saw my videos.
@@xqeze Cool I will certainly look into something discrete then. What warehouse do you work at?
That stretch film was becoming painful to watch 😮
Are you talking about the pile of wrap or the play rate of the video?
@@xqeze The continuous piles of wrap shoved in your machine. Lol
Oh, that's just unavoidable and absolutely necessary. 😆
How are you filming? What are you using
It's a ordro ep7 I removed from its case. I reshaped it with some scotch tape. Then I cut a slit on the underside of the bill and slid it. The camera lens sits on my skin in between my eyes. It looks like I have a unibrow when wearing. However the lens is upside down because of the length of its ribbon cable. I just flip the film in editing. In the original videos, I just made a clip for it and it hung under the hat bill. But the cam sat too far forward to get a true pov image.
Is it hard to use the computer system on the lift?? I have experience with sit down forklift (clamp) , EPJ , and the cherry pickers. Never drove a reach truck. I have a interview with americold thinking about winging it. I've been watching videos though for insight. Thank you for this one💯✊
The computer system is probably a little different at every location. It's not hard to do basic stuff you just need to memorize some commands to make things easier. Alt f9 should allow you to scan anything even if you aren't assigned it. That's a good one to know. F7 is exception. So if the computer says there's nothing in a slot but it has product hitting f7 will alow you to change the number of items in a slot. It also allows you to change what high slot you put a pallet into. I'm sure they will go over the system with you and other lift drivers will surely give you help if you need it.
@@xqeze thanks bubba✊
How much moves do you have to do an hour/ per day? Thanks
I don't really know but it's about 40 per hour. It usually takes 1 to 1.5 minutes each.
are u still working there ?
@brianhenson7877 Yes sir!
Do you use a Raymond or crown Hi-Lo?
Crown
Why are you collecting the plastic wrap ? No sanitation workers that go around sweeping the aisles and collecting the plastic ?
Lol, they do, but they would get mad if I just left wrap everywhere. People get annoyed that I collect so much before throwing in a bin, but it saves me time and doesn't bother me too much.
What phone you got?
I don't use a phone. I use a camera I modified and attached to a hat.
@@xqeze nah the phone in the beginning of the video
@@xsiikphyziiksx7205 It's a Samsung Galaxy A42. I think it was the last Samsung with a aux port. The main reason I got it over the note. Ive had it a few years now and its still a great phone.
@@xqeze I thought it was a foldable
@xsiikphyziiksx7205 no that's just the case. It's a billfold leather case
What city is this?
I got to keep it secret. Not supposed to film at work. But it's in the state of Kansas.
@@xqeze Okay, I also work in a warehouse, but in another country, it was cool to see how your job is.
Name of the knife
Idk those are company provided. They buy them in bulk. The only branding on it says NSF with US pat. D575,613
All those dirty dishes😬😬
I don't do dishes. Not my problem lol
@@xqeze my biggest pet peeve and worst nightmare ha
@woshyboy561 lol my biggest pet peeve is people having pet peeves.
How are you filming? What are you using
probably spy glasses or a spy pen in a polo shirt
