I work for our Publix Distribution and at our freezer warehouse they we have robots that replenish their slots instead of forklift drivers which is understandable because I don’t think our equipment can work in that environment plus it’s a 2 story warehouse house as well with elevators for the double jacks since selectors do orders on either floor
Do you like driving the reach or order selecting better? Personally I like driving the reach better. Also does your ware house have just crown? Ours has crown and Raymond. I prefer Raymond
Just crown. And of course, I'd rather be on a reach over pulling. But yeah, there are a couple that don't. But it's usually because they're not good at it or because it keeps them out of the freezer.
Idk the reason I don't like crown is standing on the double Deadman switches all day hurts my feet. Keeping them in one spot all day. If I had to drive crowns I might prefer to just pick
@jeremyb1536 I know no difference they do hurt my feet but it still beats everything else hurting everyday. But it is nice to pull every now and then just for the exercise. I do norther very much though anymore. I mostly do recieving now.
Some people it took years for them to get this position because of the union structure , I gladly got it in just 2 years . No more breaking my back pick up boxes every minute . I’m also not planning to do this forever . It’s good pay anyhow
Yeah, it took some people in my warehouse 10 years. Luckily, because of all the hours we were forced to work during civid, a lot of people above me quit. So it didn't take as long.
I do this for a living, idk why im watching

Hey bro, is this metro distribution warehouse?
Nope. When I quit working here I'll put the location in the title
How much do you make in a year working this job?
65000. I started at around 45000.
That's not the proper way to drive. 😂😂😂
