The darker color on the Sriracha is from oxidation and spicy sauces do typically get spicier as they oxidize. Nothing wrong with it at all and in fact, my dad always kept three bottles of Tabasco in rotation in the pantry, so that he could only be using the darker aged bottle at any given time.
Here in San Diego, our Trader Joe’s also has a refrigerated bottled cold pressed pineapple juice that is super inexpensive and the best I’ve ever had. It still contains a lot of the fiber, so it creates the same froth that fresh pineapple juice does. To me it tastes the closest to fresh pineapple juice if not better, and it’s usually good unopened for 2-3 months from purchase. I’ll never juice my own pineapples again after discovering it, so it’s definitely something to look out for!
I live near that town where sriracha is made. When they are at full capacity it is like the town is doused in pepper spray. It's made in a fairly populated town too. Basically a suburb of Los Angeles
Huy Fong Sirracha was supplied with all of it's chiles up until 2016, by Underwood Ranches. They had a falling out, apparently over prices, and now Huy Fong uses different chiles to make it's sirracha, and Underwood Ranches put out their own sirracha using the original chiles.
Oh super interesting. I am a Sriracha fan boy and am glad it is back on the shelves. The knock off stuff did the job. Maybe I will have to find the "Underwood Ranches" one.
small world! I just made the Muertito Vivo for the first time last weekend from Shannon's book! It was really good! Still my favourite Jagermeister cocktail is the German Vacation!
Sorry Leandro, Prince Rogers Nelson was the name on his birth certificate, and it remained his legal name up until his death. Prince's father, John Nelson, was a musician who used Prince Rogers as a stage name.
@@TheEducatedBarfly I'm not so much a fan either, but he did live across the street from me for a while, so it's more local Minneapolis lore than personal interest.
The whole issue with neighbors of the Huy Fong sriracha factory complaining about the smell is literally from 10 years ago. I did a free tour and they had a survey that asked about fumes at the end of it.
How similar to Jager is Fernet? I've had fernet but not familiar with the similarities with Jager and if it would be worth it to have both or just use Fernet
there are vague similarities but they are two completely different flavor profiles. if you use fernet as a substitute then you'll just end up with something that tastes off because the recipe wasn't made with that. if you really want to make these then i'd just get jager, it's cheap as anything
They're both very dark to black, herbal and bitter. There are some vague similarities, but not nearly the same. Maybe you can substitute one for the other in some cocktails, but it's like swapping lemon/lime juice, or bourbon/scotch/cognac: even if it works, it'll not be the same drink anymore
I have tried that TJ’s canned pineapple juice and it’s not great, though maybe better than Dole. I have found the best substitute for fresh pineapple juice to be frozen pineapple juice concentrate that is reconstituted 2:1 vs. the label direction 3:1. It is pretty close, missing just a little brightness. I think it is way superior to canned pineapple juice.
If you're going to do riffs off the Bloody Mary, sometime you should do the Ceasar cocktail! It doesn't get enough love on the internet, its my favourite brunch drink.
Personally love jager and Wurzel peter(taste almost simillar to Jäger but cheaper ). -Bartender's handshake - Jager peach campari cooler P.s Shriratcha good chiily sauce with nice bean falvor finish
I know its a major hassle and probably a waste to make batch cocktail videos. But I personally have really hard time finding good recipes for batch cocktails, and scaling up regular recipes just doesn't work. So these recipes really come in handy when I host a party, but I don't want to work all night shaking drinks and washing bar tools. So, yeah. Thanks a lot ❤
Dang I was going to say that Bloody Mary variant was crazy, but then that last drink just took things to a whole different level haha

We will sometimes take the cap off a bottle of hot sauce for the same reason
Never thought to age my Sriracha. Always keep it in the fridge as I thought it said that but maybe it doesn't.
I've made the Jagerita couple of times for friends, even the ones normally not liking Jagermeister liked this cocktail, highly recommend it.
Another amazing video. That Zombie riff looks incredible.

That throwback to the champs d’elise was golden!
I spat out my drink when you started pouring beef broth. Might have to give that one a try.
Please do and let us know… not bad and crazy tasting is not promising 11:25
Am I dumb or did the last recipe in the description not show in the video?
Jäger Buck and Frozen Jägerita are one my favs cocktails!

Underwood sued them for like 14M and won

Ah well with my luck if I’d said kid Rock that would have been his legal name too 😛 obviously not a huge Prince fan

Check again

Jager is more black licorice or anise and Fernet is bitter and minty
Fernet tastes much more medicinal and less sweet than Jägermeister, the flavour is quite different.
That zombie riff looks like a must try! 😋
Yay!! I was hoping there would be another video like this
Description has a "But First Coffee" that isn't in the video? What's the full recipe? :)
I went to a Jager specific cocktail bar in Poland. Definitely more options other than just a jagerbomb.

The title change ha. The Muerto Vivo is very intriguing.

Caesars are a Canadian made cocktail. Bloody Marys are predominately consumed in the US
Do you eat the celery or what...
No Red Bull on the counter 😔
fortunatly
Camera bro sounds more mic'd up, Nice!
I LOVED the original title
No recipe at bottom 😢
Yeah there is. Look again

Just one question for you .
Do you have a single glass recipe for batched jäger bloody ?
Legendary title 😂
Also I refrigerate my Sriracha and it keeps the bright red color!
lol I mean of all the people to use as an example for a pseudonym you picked the one guy, Prince, whose name is actually Prince.
I mean it’s been pretty well established that I pretty much lose at pop culture 😛 if anything that comment is super on brand for me
I think chipotle is grounded chi-pot-leh. Think of the proper pronunciation for guacamole, it's about the same on the last 2 letters.
Super unprepared for the Champs Élysées throwback. Wasn't much easier to watch when the video was actually released lmao!
😛 glad I could make you feel as uncomfortable now as I did then
@@TheEducatedBarfly xoxox
It's Chee-POHT-lay with poht rhyming with boat ⛵
Jager Bloody Mary was a solid sink pour... 🤢
Prince's name was "Prince Rogers Nelson". His real name was Prince.
The Jaegermaister Bloody Mary has to be the most disgusting drink ever... but the video was entertaining to watch 🙂

As an alcoholic it's impossible to stock up on jägermeister
I keep my Jager in the freezer. I am one of the "weirdoes" that prefers hers straight up.
Chipotle= chi-pot-leh. You sound that shit out exactly as written.
Can we please just talk about chopping ice in our hand with a machete...?
Yea! Don’t do it until you know what you’re doing 😝
lol, did you really renamed your video 😂
I renamed it several times
what a title
Chi-POWT-lay
No
Came here for the jaegerbombs
first the campari, now the jager, leandro cmon these do not make girls like me
CHEE-POTE-LAY
My Jager 😭😭😭😭😭💦👖
Yay-ga-meister
No
The struggle to say chipotle made me immediately unsubscribe
You must be fun at parties
I’ve never had Jager, and don’t think I ever will. Just don’t feel like having a spirit made popular by frat boys and other beginners.
Your loss I guess.
This isn't even judging a book by its cover. This is judging a book by a wrong cover that someone you don't like put on the book by accident.
it was popular in germany well before the bad marketing
