There are some wrestlers who are GREAT but if they only had McMahon’s backing would they fully reach their potential. Steve was always a good worker in the ring and even better on the mic but Vince has the marketing and creative to take you to levels you can only dream. When you look at WCW in the early 90s,Austin blended in with the Southern Rasslin,loud talking,spit flying,bar room style aesthetic but once he got to Vince,McMahon fed him just enough at a time to the point that the WWF who was the antithesis of Southern Rasslin now had “The Texas Rattlesnake” “the toughest SOB” as the face(pun intended) of their brand. The days of Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart as your white meat babyface were done,the people wanted the rawness of Austin.

The Kliq didn't ruin Shane Douglas, other wrestlers including the BSK clique thought Shane was carrying his Load either. Yoko called him out in front every body but certain fans just pretend it didn't happen. As far as the curtain call goes it's not like it was on RAW, it was on a house show. On top of that I have seen a heel and baby face hug in the ring after a hard fought match and gained respect for each other in story line. Hall and Nash were leaving, it's not like Nash had to go RAW a week later and pretend it didn't happen. And the Skip thing ? I love Chris Candido, he was awesome in SMW but fans getting pissed at Shawn for fucking Sunny , that's just fucking stupid. Sunny bucked Davey Boy Smith, Raven and half the ECW locker room but fans don't get but hurt about them? Fuck off. Thank God for the Kliq because with out them we would have not had the great era of wrestling we had in the late 90's.
