When you take the tracks off for the summer , squirt 80/90 in each wheel to lubricate the bearing , and it will pull any water out of the bearing. Good to see you having such a great year.

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna change all the bearings this spring and do just that

They make a little bigger 17 called the 17WSM you might look at too. I have one but it doesn't shoot a group but I think I just got a Lemmon

The bogie wheel bearings need to be submerged in some gear oil to help stop from seizing up like that and blowing apart, open the caps and squirt in some 80W-90. If you run them dry like that they will gaul and seize up and then blow apart like yours did. I learned the hard way and now check every bogie wheel on mine every other trip to make sure there is oil in each one.

Awesome catches. That first dawg had great guard hairs. If you’d seen the one’s living round here, you’d laugh. Wooly looking not nearly as nice. Good luck and stay safe out there 👍👍

Do you set up a bait pile for the wolves with the carcasses you get from the other critters you trap?

Just this fur will probably cost me 100$ not to mention the gass to get it. I'm not trying to put up numbers just helping some people that are having problems and I'm not selling any fur just getting everything tanned this year
