If you use quick links between your snare & extention, you don't need cable cutters. Just remove the snare that caught, and replace it with a new one. Once used, the snares are toast anyway, so you can remove the snares when you get home.
I’m curious as to why you hang cd’s, does it just catch their attention?
Why don't you use chin sticks on your snares?
I do on some but not all .. just depends on the set
