I had the W810i and the W890. I loved the size and build of the W890, though it was UNBEARABLY unreliable, it froze and went hot several times every day. These phones were well made but the software was horrendously unstable. This is why I've NEVER bought a Sony phone since and never will.
It's crazy to look at phones from the 2005 - 2010 era, especially across different brands. People were truly designing phones and it was something you could identify with. Nowadays everybody carries the same, boring touchscreen bricks. Sad really.
i still use the W810i since 2006, battery lasts very long and needs very little power and space... amazing sound, can catch FM radios too. super solid high quality components and material.
If you look at the spec, there are very little upgrade but major design changes. Yet phone these days were the opposite, very minor design but lots of spec upgrade
As I'm a Sony Ericsson big fan collector I confirm that this are really legendary phones! I will never sell them. Uniq design, elements and capabilities! Never ending times for Walkman and cybershot series! 💪🍻 🇷🇴 🎊
Hey whats the phone that has wifi connectivity and looks alot like w610i? Please tell me a sony ericsson with wifi connectivity but looks like w610i please!
Looking and remembering these phones, Sony was (and still is) on another level when it comes to product design. Using coloured aluminium to match screen, beautiful blend of plastic and metal way back in 2005. Steve Jobs was very much influenced by Sony design.
Those are the golden era of Sony & Ericson working in harmony. Without Ericson Sony lost its way in android world. Those Walkman series phones are killing it on those days. Loved it so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
I still maintain the W800i is the best phone of it's time, and one of the best ever. The built-in speaker was great, the shutter slide protected the lens, bold colors, great build quality -- amazing all round.
I owned the W800i, W850i and the W910i. They were hands down the best phones I've owned and the features they brought to the market were really fun. I miss the days of true innovation and design.
Back when music was the only important thing people ever wanted. SO all the phone manufacturers were focused on how best their phones would appeal to youngsters in terms of mp3 players.
God, I had and wanted sooo many of these! I know modern phones are better in every way but these phones were just so cool. Every phone looked different. Today they are all pretty much identical.
7:34 W902....I loved that phone....it was the best phone that l had as a kid. I was so excited about its features and l used to play java games a lot. I'll never forget those good days...♥️🥺
These phones quality tells the quality of Japan. It was. a beautiful era with only camera and music primarily on the phones. Mind was peaceful without high-speed internet 😄😆
I still have W850i unfortunately broken. And W995 which working perfectly and been in use daily at work for listening music. Even today battery is unbelievable and can listen music 4-5 hrs daily for almost entire week.
I can remember being 16 years old having a W810 and thinking it was amazing at the time transfering new MP3 files every night. Truly great times and great phones.
I am a Sony super fans . My first SE Walkman phone was W800 -> different models -> Xperia 1IV now My favor one was W995, It look so cool. I used it for 2 year and still keep it.
Had the W800i. Legendary phone. I owned it from 2007-2010. Still got the one before that k750i. Those phones, almost everyone had one around the time. If I remember after 2011, BlackBerry took over the market & then came those iphones. I remember one of my friend being in college only guy with a iPhone 4.
That was a much needed break from all the rubbish on RUclips. Great history lesson and such a cool non violent ear bashing sound track! My friend still uses their Sony w995 and won't use anything else. She uses it all the time. Sony unlike certain other companies, always designed their kit to last. Thumbs up !!
You missed out on a great era of phones. My first phone was the W810i. I also had the W995 and Live With Walkman (my first android phone). In my collection I have the W900, W300, W700 and Zylo.
Sony has always been a Class... It had the best features and after sony came up with one of the best sound, camera and even ear phones then the rest of the company took over made similar products... But still nothing can beat SONY...... I really miss those walman series.... Since every brand has come up with the old mobile styles with new version.. Hopefully sony comes up with one of its Best.....
W550i was my first phone. My dad got it for me and little did I know it would be one of the most memorable phones I've ever owned. W910i was my next phone which I desperately wanted but was desperately disappointed with because it restarted almost every time I touched it.. probably something to do with the accelerometer. Complained about it and eventually got the W595 which served its purpose. I always envied after the W850i / W950i / W995. I was like 13 and so interested in gsmarena .. what a place to be.
I loved the Sony Ericsson lineup and had several over 2006-2009. So much innovation over the course of 5 years. And now I have the amazing iPhone, just like everyone else.
Still no android phones at present to beat legendary walkman sound quality for sure especially w995 and live with walkman producing amazing sound quality in stereo speakers and in headsets.I still using LWW android music quality amazing with Sony Xloud engine, even samsung a73 and moto g84 with dolby atmos can't beat walkman sound quality.Samsung produces some smoky voice moto no bass. Sony woww pleasent crystal clear well balanced sound quality with perfect bass with clean audio, even apple cant beat Walkman sure
I had a W910 way back 2011 and i didn’t know that it was a 2007 model. I still remember my favorite song to play on that phone, ‘How Do You Sleep’ by Jesse McCartney
Since I got my first phone in 2005, I have used Sony/Sony Ericsson phones exclusively up to the Xperia XZ Premium. I have to say, their latest phones really do not match to the competition, that's why I have now switched to a Samsung.
I feel that 2007-2009 was very cool, technology is really developing very rapidly, style and fashion are very attractive. And lot of "emo" music at that time lol.
I remember from past these were my favourite phones in past n now too so well made like no other । Colour scheme design were futuristic I own many । Still love sony ericsson
Man! I missed my first phone that my mom gave me I love walkman W8 2011 I got the red one! I was so happy with that phone for me it was the best phone I ever had and after 2 years I change my phone! I got to Xperia L because sony didnt update the android version it sucks! those were the days!
My first self-bought phone was w595, I did painting for money and I was really happy when I finally got that phone. I remember that screen rotated sideways and when holding volume buttons, the tracks would change. Damn those were fine days... 😭
1:00 - W810i .. By far, my favorite chocolate bar cell phone ever, bar none. I still have it. There are just no 3g/edge carriers anymore or I'd still use it.
Sony Ericsson headphones were just too good I think these are first headphones which include megabass and rubber earbuds..the innovation of headphones introduced first only in sony ericsson
The w800 camera features was dope for a phone. It had manual sliding covers and a button to take picture like a camera with additional bright flash. So many good times with ut.
0:00 - 2005 (W800, W550/W600, W900)

I had the W810i and the W890.
I loved the size and build of the W890, though it was UNBEARABLY unreliable, it froze and went hot several times every day.

W996
sony live with walkman came in 2012...
I still have my Sony Ericsson W900 and it's so cool working just fine. It's been 15 years Wow!
Those days, things were still made to last. Cool eh? 😊 😎👍💖
Lucky Man....
you are insane
Im thinking of buying one for music hate android and apple borin
Lucky man. Lucky mobile..
This just shows phone designs nowadays are so boring.
People just want bigger touchscreens. There's little room to put a design on.
@@piznoctsauo8141 i don't want bigger touchscreens at all
I mean how can you improve a brick?
I agree ,they all look the same like black ceramic tiles 😴🙄 BOARING
Do you even want a metamorphic phone?
I remember seeing these as a kid and thinking they were super cool; I still like the design, to be honest.
Me too. Had the w580. I thought it was really slick
Awesome design very comfortable In pocket maybe A bit too comfortable prone to losing it
I had the Walkman W810 and it was my favorite phone in high school! I wanted to own all the swivel action ones but… I was just a high school kid 😅
It's crazy to look at phones from the 2005 - 2010 era, especially across different brands.
People were truly designing phones and it was something you could identify with. Nowadays everybody carries the same, boring touchscreen bricks.
Sad really.
Man, Sony Ericsson had really beautiful looking phones. I really like the orange with white/ black colour combinations.
i still use the W810i since 2006, battery lasts very long and needs very little power and space...
amazing sound, can catch FM radios too. super solid high quality components and material.
You are lucky!
So much nostalgia seeing the w205,, was the first phone I ever got and I was on it 24/7 listening to music
This is SO nostalgic
I had most of the models
Those were the days to actually get excited about a new phone
They had dual speakers you could hook up to them correct??
I REALLY wish someone would produce phones like this again
If you look at the spec, there are very little upgrade but major design changes. Yet phone these days were the opposite, very minor design but lots of spec upgrade
It's a shame that phones today cannot have these sophisticated designs.
I still remember having my W200 in black, I can still feel those buttons and it was kinda loud back then, good old days.
Sony Walkman series fones were just amazing, super audio, great camera, neat designs, complete package… ❤
Remember back in middleschool when the cool kids would blast technomusic on their walkmans during lunchbreak
I still maintain the W800i is the best phone of it's time, and one of the best ever. The built-in speaker was great, the shutter slide protected the lens, bold colors, great build quality -- amazing all round.
The oldschool days reminds me of better days im going to get myself a old school cell phone. Yeahhhhhhhhhhh😊
Back in the days the coolest kids always carry a Sony Ericsson phone. How time flies
Two friends and I all had different Walkman phones at different times and it was cool to wait for and see them all again. These phones were killer.
I owned the W800i, W850i and the W910i. They were hands down the best phones I've owned and the features they brought to the market were really fun. I miss the days of true innovation and design.
I had the W580 and I rocked that phone for years. I miss pre-smartphone days, truly.
Brings back a lot of memories😔
7:34 W902....I loved that phone....it was the best phone that l had as a kid. I was so excited about its features and l used to play java games a lot. I'll never forget those good days...♥️🥺

we used to use w995 for cellular network testing. they ran "tems pocket" I still have a few.
When phones had characters, not like recent days; full screen and then just changes the position of the camera's+flash.
Or even not changing the camera design at all
Atleast now even of your phone is a few years old it still doesn't look old😂
I can remember being 16 years old having a W810 and thinking it was amazing at the time transfering new MP3 files every night. Truly great times and great phones.
I am telling you one day I am gonna shift to one of these and live peacefully.
that's my plan too :)
But they are no longer available. Maybe a retro Nokia...
I am just gazing towards the headphones which were free with the phones at that time. And obviously with good quality
I am a Sony super fans . My first SE Walkman phone was W800 -> different models -> Xperia 1IV now

Remember the time when we borrow our friend's walkman phone asking to exchanges some themes? Good times

Had both the w395 & w800, great memories of both, wish Sony would do a 2020 version
Even though I never owned a Sony Ericsson phone, this video was a true treat to watch all the way to the end. They really had great designs.
You missed out on a great era of phones. My first phone was the W810i. I also had the W995 and Live With Walkman (my first android phone). In my collection I have the W900, W300, W700 and Zylo.

these mobiles designs are the best, look at them they are pieces of art
Owned W595 for a couple of years, it was actually my last Sony Ericsson and last classic-type phone. Damn, good times
Still faithful to Sony Xperia, though, don't get some wierd ideas!
These were legendary gadgets called as handsets, now every smartphone looks similar ...
Just like a lot of things in society now. Originality has gone out the window.
Thank you for the OVERWHELMING nostalgia. I remember walking into phone shops looking at the newest ones.. simple times..😪
I really miss these kinds of phones , both the designs and the build quality. So tired of touch screen phones
SonyEricsson phones quality n design aesthetics were topclass😍😍😍...
Missing badly
My aunt had the W700 and kept using it up until around 2014 when she bought a more recent smartphone.
7:05 My phone 😢 Sony Ericsson Walkman W95 Gold colour Really missing those days.

I loved the Sony Ericsson lineup and had several over 2006-2009. So much innovation over the course of 5 years. And now I have the amazing iPhone, just like everyone else.
Still I never found such audio quality in any current phones
W350 was an awesome phone back in the day 🥰 they sure don't make these kinds of phones anymore 00s era was magical

Loved my Sony Ericsson w850i, what a phone!
I had a W910 way back 2011 and i didn’t know that it was a 2007 model. I still remember my favorite song to play on that phone, ‘How Do You Sleep’ by Jesse McCartney
W850 is the best looking Walkman phone after w900 in my eyes anyway, thanks for taking me down memory lane awesome video
I had the W700 for 7 years. The music output from this is the best I have ever experienced.
W995 was ahead of its time..design,specs,features...i wanted this phone so fucking bad🥺
W300 was my first Walman phone, I really miss this old designs
I had been w350... miss those era
Now I have using iphone 12, galaxy A52 5g & M32
Nice. Imali su najlepši dizajn u to vreme od svih ostalih telefona.
These phones menu structure and quality were better than in nokia, imho.
Still have w550
Rotating body + awesome dual speakers
This was truly the future phone
Till this day they look really sick, looks better than average smartphones nowadays
W580 was a pog phone, loved how the lighting on the sides would change with the themes, compact as well and build quality was legit.
Since I got my first phone in 2005, I have used Sony/Sony Ericsson phones exclusively up to the Xperia XZ Premium. I have to say, their latest phones really do not match to the competition, that's why I have now switched to a Samsung.
The XZ premium ❤️
I thought it was so cool that they were carrying the Walkman, Cybershot and even Playstation brands in their mobile phones.
Had the W810 and W995 ❤️
Those were quiet the days
Perfection & creativity = Sony Ericsson. My first Sony phone was Cybershot K550i. Amazing phone along with superb camera.
I feel that 2007-2009 was very cool, technology is really developing very rapidly, style and fashion are very attractive. And lot of "emo" music at that time lol.
As a Sony Ericsson Walkman phones collector i can say this video is very compact and fairly informative about main features of designs
When sonys phones were the best around in my opinion
This brought back too many memories. Great days.
4:20 w580i I am still using as secondary.
Me too
I really missed those old phones. Anybody else?
in generally, I miss the good old times
I wish Sony brought them back again with Android OS.
The best walkman phone series is Sony Ericsson 👌👍😎

W200 was my first phone ever and i paid for it myself. When i was eleven years old in 2007, i sold a bunch of stuff on fleamarkets to buy it :D
So cool 👍👍
My first self-bought phone was w595, I did painting for money and I was really happy when I finally got that phone. I remember that screen rotated sideways and when holding volume buttons, the tracks would change. Damn those were fine days... 😭
I am a huge fan of these beautiful phones. Now the phones are boring.
Aesthetic-wise, they nailed it. So beautiful.

Phones were so much more interesting back then. Such unique designs.
9594330355
The w800 camera features was dope for a phone. It had manual sliding covers and a button to take picture like a camera with additional bright flash. So many good times with ut.
Phone were fun back in the days !
I never had one of these in my childhood but I love watching it 😊. I'm just fascinated by the technology of early 2000
