YOU NEED TO DO SO MUCH MORE. You will absolutely LOVE what these guys have to offer. Some notable reacts are: Nightmare Hail to the King The Beast and the Harlot Buried Alive Afterlife Just for starters!!!!
This song is from 2005, actually. The City of Evil album. It was written about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, a story by Hunter S. Thompson. There's a film adaptation starring Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro. The line about pulling a trigger is a reference to Thompson's real-life suicide, which happened in February 2005. This is a tribute song, in a sense, and the band's best-selling single. City of Evil was their transition from being a metalcore band with heavy screaming to being a hard rock and heavy metal band with crazy melodic shred. This song got the band invited to play MTV Total Request Live. It was also in a ton of video games. Guitar Hero, Madden, NHL, Saints Row, etc. The Lineup: M. Shadows - vocals Synyster Gates - guitar Zacky Vengeance - guitar Johnny Christ - bass The Rev - drums You should react to M.I.A. from the same record. It's the last track on City of Evil, and my favorite song of all time. Keep up the great work! ❤
Ay its Mullet_King_420 from tiktok. Love this song one of my favorite bands. You have to check out songs from their Sounding The Seventh Trumpet album they were hardcore back then
Bat drugs making you bat shit crazy, battling for sanity and health? Avenged Sevenfold deliver 9/10 imo! Bat country, yeah? Also: - Blinded in Chains - Almost Easy - Afterlife - Welcome to the Family - Danger Line - Natural Born Killer - So far Away - Carry On - Not Ready to Die Hope these suffice as selection! I should add 'Nightmare', but I'm not gonna watch the vid if you release it (sorry), so I'll just make it a dishonourable mention. (Again, sorry.) Ah, and I will edit this comment once I've checked your channel - brb! EDIT: Oh, t'was from the "new release" - I C ! Welp, Good Luck, and Good Day to you, Sir! Hope you are well!
You’d totally love Beast and the Harlot. And Set Me Free is actually a song that didn’t make there album actually. They have so many awesome songs that make that one look inferior (though I enjoy it as well)
My Guy!!! This is a great song, but! If you wanna hear what they ORIGNALLY sounded like, you gotta listen to songs off their 1st album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. May I recommend To End The Rapture, Darkness Surrounding, Shattered and Broken Dreams. You wont regret listening to them!! Keep up the great work
Someone has likely already noted this, but the video is a tribute to the Fear and Loathing in Last Vegas movie about Hunter S Thompson (and an excellent one), so basically everything that's a what the fuck moment is a movie reference 😂 If you Love the drums in this, hit up Beast in the Harlot, but NOT the music video-it cuts out the best of the drums. Same album, brilliant key change, incredibly catchy chorus with... Well, holy shit, The Rev on the drums was just.... Something else.
Man I forgot how much I love this song! Also Ohrion, are you going to react to that new song Banshee dropped today? its called Pressure and it KICKS ASS
Also, this isn't heavy Sevenfold, you want to go one album further back to Waking The Fallen for their original proper metal sound. I'd suggest the official video for Unholy Confessions or the audio track for Chapter 4 or Eternal Rest.
The drummer's name was The Rev. Unfortunately he passed away, they even have a song dedicated to him called "So Far Away", for sure one of the greatest drummers to ever exist. As for the solos, nothing has ever beaten Avenged Sevenfold for me personally. If you haven't heard it I'd suggest listening to Afterlife and the aforementioned So Far Away.
This is what got me into a7x. They’ve lost me a little since the early days, but these boys know how to play their instruments, and Matt can sing his ass off with lyrics that mean something. Not the thrashiest, heaviest shit out there. Notably, no bleghs. But, musicianship in spades.
A little piece of heaven that's the right song to start of with the music video my personal Favorite song ever. But nightmare danger line or Beast in the harlot would be great for you. Sorry for my English.
Some nice fast songs to check out from them would be trashed and scattered, beast and harlot, second heartbeat, almost easy. Ones with nice solos are those just mentioned but also afterlife, chapter four, save me, the stage and well many others cause Synyster Gates is mind boggling with his playing.
A7X is a great band for so many people because they just want to make music. They're not interested in being tied to a specific genre. 'Dear God' sounds country. For you, I'd recommend Critical Acclaim.
You should definitely react to lost by them, imo its their best song and it also has (what i consider) the best solo of all time (not just a7x, i literally mean OF ALL TIME)
I remember when this was released. Cuz I'm old. Lots of Hunter S Thompson references in that video. Played it over and over, the rev is just so dang casual while he shreds all over those drums. Quality. 👌 ... I watched the Jiluka Lethal Affliction video and figured you were more of a blegh man, but if you dug this one then I'll throw this at you. A little independent Japanese Visual Kei band with a big metalcore thing going on... Arlequin. They've been around for a few years now and getting good reach as much as small independent vk bands can... Which isn't a lot... But it's quality. You'll dig it. Arlequin - Exist ruclips.net/video/r2n_iZwih80/видео.html
Yes and there is only about 2 or 3 minutes of vocals its just prog space metal madness so many solos your fingers will hurt listening to it but so so soooo worth the time!
one of the best metal bands ever, a7x is know for hard metal, since Rev died, they got soft(no wonder), try with blided in chains, or as for reacition DO A little piece of Heaven, trust me, you will be surprised, as everyone did. Drums are by REV, one crazy drummr he was, R.I.P REV
The only music videos that should definitely be done are Warmness on the Soul, Unholy Confessions, Seize the Day, A Little Piece of Heaven, Nightmare, So Far Away, and The Stage. Nothing was cut from them, and the videos add context. The rest are disappointments.
This album was the start of the decline of A7X for me, Ohrion check out any song off the album Waking The Fallen, Unholy Confessions is the most famous track, but the song Chapter Four is the best on that last good album by A7X, just my opinion of course buds
Other upload got blocked... here it is again lol

A7x write some of the best solos I’ve ever heard
I keep hearing this lol
lol then you havent heard alot
Synyster Gates is god.
@@stareye_1062 sheesh u sound like a metal elitist. let people have their opinion
@@joestar3335 there are objectively better solos, look at what prog metal has done. Dont be a shmuck.

Haha thanks. Yeah definitely ncan get behind this
You should do Afterlife, Sheppard of fire, God hates us or This means war

Gotta check out second heartbeat. Epic song
These guys are so phenomenal live 🔥 one of the best and first gig I went to 🤙🏻100% recommend.
Travis Barker has NOTHING on The Rev
Facts
Travis is overrated
I definitely agree but they also are totally different styles of drumming, Travis is a punk drummer
Ay its Mullet_King_420 from tiktok. Love this song one of my favorite bands. You have to check out songs from their Sounding The Seventh Trumpet album they were hardcore back then
Ehhhyyyy! Much love man! Haha I'll slap'r on the list

This song is from 2005, the same year I got my Deathbat tattoo. Can't believe it's been 16 years already, fucking hell.
Also, obligatory R.I.P The Rev comment, the band hasn't been the same since he died.
2005 and not 2009
The whole album sounds similar to this so I’d recommend everything on City of Evil
Gotta do god hates us live at rock em ring🔥🔥🔥

My personal favorite is Save Me it’s a longer song but absolutely amazing
I recommend Not Ready to Die, from Call of The Dead or Coming Home. Both by A7X.
If you react to Beast and the harlot, I really hope you like it!!!
Buried Alive is a Must Do!!! And pretty much anything from the City of Evil album.
“Not a solo guy”… literally the best part of most Rock songs hahaha
This song is actually from 2005 when City of Evil was released not 2009 😊
Hell yeaaahh!! ✊🏼✊🏼💀

Nightmare and Buried Alive definitely.
Hail to the king by avenged sevenfold, you won't be disappointed
Lets get it bud
This song was in an ssx game back in the day
it's from the 2005 album not 2009, it's still a banger though 👍
Yeah... I knew I was that old 😔😅
You should react to Waking the Fallen (the album) I recommend Eternal Rest.
Love this song so much 🖤

If you react to Avenged Sevenfold please don't react to the music videos cause most of them cut the drum solo, also half of the guitar solos

Thx for uploading. If you have time come watch my music videos - I'm an indie musician and think you might dig my sound. Really appreciate it!
I got a cookie for whoever can tell me what madden this song was in “🍪”
Why does everyone watch the music video, it doesn’t have any of the good parts
