I think what everyone is forgetting is that the next time Fred touches the 100 it'll be a world record. So... I have Kerley 9.55, lyles 9.8, Coleman 9.82
Noah, Kenny & Lindsey will all be ready to go @Trials, BIG question is what shape is Knighton in as he literally hasn't raced in MONTHS?! Depending on Knighton's fitness, the other 3 could legit be the 100/200m Teams as Kerley & Coleman haven't looked convincing this yr! Rooting HARD for teenagers Christian Miller & Quincy Wilson to make their respective 100/400m Finals!
Coleman has ran 9.95 at the pre classic and it was only 60 degrees. Pretty chilly for sprinters if it gets warmer this weekend he should be in 9.8 shape. Kerley on the other hand hasn't broken 10 at all this season.

Very rational predictions. I think that Kerley's attitude puts a lot of destructive pressure on him. If you are truly so self-confidant, why do you have the need to express it over and over again? Prediction: 1) Lyles; 2) Kenny B; 3) Miller.
@@aodoemela Yes, he shouldn't be, but my prediction is somewhat emotional, and I was also very impressed with his mentality, attitude and body language in competitions and on training sessions. I watched all the relevant footage. He is special, not only as a future prospect.

Christian, Noah, and Fred are my top three americans. Yes, I’m happy you agree with me Christian is showing great promise…I think he could pull the upset big time in Paris! Also, Noah is planning to do something insane in the 100M…I truly think he can go 9.6X this year if he has the right conditions and timing. Kerley is third based upon what we have seen in the past, but he’s gonna need Nike shoes to pull this off. To be continued.
Why is everyone so down on Kerley? If he’s fit and race sharp, he makes the team. Lyles and Coleman must be favourites though. Kenny has a shot given his current form. Those four are the favourites as Anderson suggests.
I hate to count out Kerley but I just don't see it this year. He hasn't been the same since his season-ending injury in 2022. Then the coaching change, antics with the DQ and sponsor at his last event makes me feel like he's not in the right mental space probably because he knows his training hasn't been going the way he wants.
CC won worlds 2019 (i.e. within 5yrs), he was co-WL last year, and has the top 5 fastest US 100m times this year. What other US athlete has those stats to be co-favorite?
I’m not seeing Fred Kurley running any world record. Furthermore, he wouldn’t even be close running out of the US. Noah Nyles is more of a raw talent better than the rest of the US athletes and we know that Coleman is coming off a Bann therefore the rest of the world has a X beside his name…
