You have 4 randos on your side and 5 on the enemy side. If you are better than the randos it’s free. The only issue with this is that you are less Likeley to have a Smurf in your team but you are also less likely to have feeders etc. There’s some annoying hold backs maybe which I’m not sure about (demotion shield ruins mmr I think since you don’t lose lp so if you hover around the bottom of some elo for example Platin 4 -gold 1 you mmr can get lower and lower even though you have above 50% wr (but maybe riot has something to prevent this but I doubt it…) same with afk / remake compensation… like ok nice you give me free lp? Well who cares about 10 lp if I now get 1 lp less per win?
