Aii unfortunate waving accident. It didn't look too hard so hopefully you have been able to fix it. Lessons I take from this is to to not wave and stay focused. I think it caused you to miss your line and be suprised by the wobble causing lift off. I think if you had responded sooner to the lift off it wouldn't have happened, either. The wobble seemed to be controllable if caught sooner. But I think the slower than usual response time is caused by you being slightly distracted due to the waving. Was only expecting 1 word to be said in this video. Was not disappointed 😂 Side note: people go on about how Gran Turismo has unrealistic sounds but the tyre squeels are spot on based on this 😂
Easily done. My thoughts are the overtake distracted so you went in deeper and faster into the braking zone than you would otherwise, you then naturally tried to counter this with a more aggressive turn in that the rear axel couldn't match so the car was already rotating, coupled with the realisation you were going too fast there is a natural lift and weight transfer forward that helped the rear axle on its journey. What experience brings is knowing you've already getting all the grip the car will give, and the best route when you've already overcooked the entry is to run wide on the exit.
@@alexandrehaussmann7251 Trail braking a bit too hard I think as he was trying to scrub the speed off, the rear end is coming around before he hits the apex, which indicates to me he was still braking.

Distracted by the E46 M3. You're only human....
At least it wasn't a Renault Clio lol
Reacting this slowly to oversteer...
Right? I’ll give him props for staying relaxed, but countersteering needs to happen as soon as the rear end steps out, not halfway though the slide.
Could have been a lot worse. Glad everything was OK in the end!
That curb got you good mate
He puts his thumb up like I got this. Was rather funny him being distracted by gesturing thank you.
i hope the repair wasn't too expensive
Hard to watch from the moment of upset, hope this was not your daily. Keep diggin' !
I've too spun a lot of times on that corner... On Asseto Corsa Competizione 😅
It happens, you'll get it next time 👍
we all have 😂.. He didn't hut it too hard luckily
My 2p is that you first went to turn in too early. Adjusted. Broke out of rhythm and then released the brakes a little too sudden followed by the steering input immediately after. This caused the unsettling of the weight to the outside tyres.
Fact is you were driving well and on the limits, so a small thing can have a large consequence.
That’s a lesson for a driver to expect that to happen, anticipate it in the background and react firmer and quicker… unluckily in racing that’s how we learn, by crashing
I say fk the same time you did as I m watching. Also I drive an 86 so double the feelings. Hope you are ok
