- Its going to be a VERY long journey through this series but I hope when I look back, I can be proud of the ground I coverd and brought a very niche series into the limelight for all to witness. I hope you stick with me on this Journey through Oneechanbara.

it's crazy how they kept all of the attack animations from the base PS2 game till now, tells you how good the animations were back then.
i think it was more of the fact that the attack timing was heavily tied to the animations. if you change the animations you now have to play the characters differently. so if your used to Ayas playstyle from the first game, youll be good all the way up to the later games.
In my opinion, Origin's new attack animations are great too, with the added bonus of feeling weightier and easier to time.
This is gonna be a treat.
I played through both PS2 Oneechanbara games and a bit of Special in Japanese.
Having basic skill of reading hiragana and katakana will help.
Special is a mission-based brawler in the style of God Eater or Monster Hunter (i.e. slay X zombies.)
You unlock weapons and characters as you progress.
i figured by the stuff i saw in the lobby. what i wanna know is how deep does it go? is their coop?
@@GAMEPRO24X Your weapon determines your stats. Accessories give abilities. There are challenges within the stage you can complete for bonuses.
Orbs act as currency rather than XP. You can trade them for items used in your inventory.
Coop might have to be unlocked. (I'm at a boss right now.)

@@GAMEPRO24X Topmost one is health, Second one down is combo, Third one down is attack power, and the bottom three are types of defense I believe.

its a shame this road map did not manifest any video's I would have really liked the controls config for Dolphin as yeah I can only play that game for an hour or 2 at a time before my arm hurts.
Unfortunately, alot has happened between then and now and alot of my work efforts toward these videos shifted. I apologize for that. I know I have all the footage of Vortex done I just have to create the video for it. But with my current job status, I think I can start trying again. but thank you for voicing your frustrations. it lets me know that people did care about this series and want it to continue. I can make the video about the dolphin controls as its a simple process. again my apologies for alot of the delay
yeah life happens sometimes, I look forward to any vids you may drop on the series but I understand if you simply cannot anymore.

Hello, interested on gamepad configuration for Bikini Slayers. More than 2 years, but any suggestions or tips would be welcomed. Thanks!
I don't want to be seen as annoying, but I just want to mention that the "Origin" in OneeChanbara Origin is only singular, not plural. Wikipedia doesn't know anything.
Also, the name "OneeChanbara" is pronounced "o-NEH-CHAWM-BA-ra". Emphasis on the capital letters. (Technically it's pronounced in a Japanese accent, but I don't know how to articulate that.) If you can't understand the way I wrote it, you can check how the English voices (or better yet, the Japanese voices) of the characters pronounce it in the title screen of Origin.
