In terms of reasonable wait times, I’ve always had good luck with the week after they take down the holiday decorations.

Just some constructive criticism as I randomly stumbled upon your video. I began doing videos more than 5 years ago. Similarly, I didn’t show my face at first, but bought the crappiest mic on Amazon. The algorithm looks for many things…volume quality, (and levels) consistency, content, upload regularity, etc. It took me nearly 3 years to get 1,000 subscribers. Don’t give up and keep going and improving each time and try different things until the algorithm finds something to showcase…then run with it!

Thank you, I appreciate that feedback! Did the mic help? Part of my levels issue might be because I have to record in multiple clips because it's hard to read a whole script without mistakes. I try to recreate the environment for the previous take but I notice a difference sometimes. I try to edit it but I'm still learning that part. If you know how to solve that I'm all ears lol! But ya, a mic would be a good investment. Thanks again for the feedback!

A $29 USB mic that plugs right into the computer works very nicely to start. Going off script is great practice at first until you gain the confidence to “wing it” like AJ from DFB and it flows more naturally. It’s ok to make mistakes and laugh and own up to them. It makes you more personable.
If you can’t gather enough Disney footage to stay viable in Canada, check out others like WDW Pro that talks about controversial Disney issues, or WDW News Today for current events. You don’t need much footage and it’s more about content. Keep going and you’ll find your niche!

@AdventureStop that's all great advice. I appreciate it! I listen to people like AJ and she does sound so natural. I have a series that I want to finish but beyond that, hopefully I'll be able to go off script and sound like myself a bit more. I like Offhand Disney too and I think he has great content for someone who doesn't go to the parks every week. Thanks again! I'll check out your channel too!
