- Have you had an issue with your bobbin but can't figure it out. Well I just figured one of my issues out, and I am hoping that this helps someone out there.
Bobbin tension can be a mystery sometimes, and sometimes you have to be willing to investigate all the different things that could be causing the problems. Here is one that might help!!

Great idea! Never thought of that
Hope it helps!!
Nice catch!
I’m so glad I figured it out!!! 😂
Great video. Thanks for doing this one
My pleasure!!
Just posted to the Moxie Group . I never though about looking at the bobbin plastic itself as a potential issue. Thank you!
I’m glad it helped!!!
I only use metal bobbins but noticed my thread doesn't come out evenly. You made me realize that little tail that I have coming out the hole could be catching. I will be more cognizant of that going forward and see if that helps. Thanks.
I’m so glad that this helped!!! Sometimes it’s the tiniest things that cause issues with our tension. Lol!!
What am I doing wrong with my bobbins? They are the Pfaff originals from my dealer for my Passport 3.0 and the start string ends up messing my sewing up when it’s half full. Not sure if I can post a picture here but if I can I’ll share. TIA.
Hmmmm. I’m not familiar with that machine. I’d be glad to see a pic though to see if I could help.
Never used plastic bobbins - are these pre-wound?
Yes…these are prewounds. DecoBobs from Wonderfil. They are great!!
