And it's blown out to hell right now, it's usually smoother haha. It's the most popular trail on the front range for a reason, well built, flows good, has enough optional lines to be somewhat spicy.

For 1999 the Roscoe 9 is a NO brainer. Matty helped me pull the trigger on my Roscoe 9 2 year ago. ALOT has happened since then, I've had upgrade-itus multiple times since then and I'm now in a Trek Rail 9.8 gx AXS. Anyone on the fence for a Roscoe 9, totally scoop it up, still love that bike.

Matty, thank you for making these videos! You are enthusiastic and friendly, which make your videos so approachable, especially for a MTB beginner like myself. I love how you always share what you are learning, but it’s also so obvious that you were a very skilled rider. So I am always so excited when you upload a new video. Cadence sensors are mostly a roadie thing, although the new electronic rockshox suspension requires one, so it knows when you are pedaling so it can firm up.
Giant roadbikes have (had) a hole cut into the chainstay for a proprietary one. It also had a wheels speed sensor. More expensive bikes/frames came with them preinstalled.

The Gen. 2 Marlin 5 is 20% off at my local dealer in Saudi Arabia. Two problems, though: a. I haven't got the cash to spend, and b. the size medium 29er - the one that actually fits me - is already sold out in any colorway. The size medium Gen. 3 doesn't fit me, and the size small Gen. 3 is 27.5, so I'm 💩 out of luck on this one.

The Roscoe 9 has been at that price for quite some time now. I think they are more than likely just trying to move surplus stock in the limited sizes still available but we shall see. I think they made a mistake not releasing the 9 in more than one color in the US market. Not that it looks bad (I ride one) but it’s just a look ppl either love or hate. I wish bike companies released info on the number of each model they sold the way car companies do. I think it would be pretty interesting to look over the lists.
