This song is actually atleast a decade old. Its a campus song, Dhaka University people has been listening and singing this song for years in their Ashor and Adda. The director Suman is also from Dhaka Uni so he brought this urban folk into his movie.
The most amazing fact about this song is that there was no musical instruments were used to produce the melodies sounds instead of instruments they use the things that every local fishing boat contain . Like bamboo glass Steel container etc.
Only Khomok was used as a musical instrument in this track
All other sounds created by the normal materials and utensils which are common in a boat like plastic gallons, steal jars and plates e.t.c
Just on a positive note:
Unlike Jontrona or other commercial music songs, This shada kala song actually holds the soul of a bengali or Bangladeshi culture of friends meeting each other. Even though its a new song but no matrter what whenever a bangladeshi will listen to this he or she will straight go on a "adda" mode.
The tabla tuktak music holds the sould of a Bangladeshi and it feels the songs is a thousand years old not a new one. Saying that, I really appreciate your effort to put your time to know us and our culture better.
This song is a instant hit in allover the country as the song has a very simple tone and lyrics. People connect to the lyrics and tone immediately. Many people couldn’t confess their love to the dear one in one or several springs.

The actor/singer Chanchal Chowdhury is single handedly reviving bengali cinema, never thought i would see the day!
Chanchal Chowdhury is one of the most legendary/versatile actor of bangladesh... started off doing dramas at a young age and then shown his true acting geniuses in cinemas like: monpura, aynabaji, debi, telivision, rupkothar golpo, taqdeer, boli and hawa just a name a few.
