All five singers are members of the LGBTQ community. They made this video to commemorate the Pulse nightclub shootings a few years ago in Orlando where so many LGBTQ people, especially gay Hispanic men, were killed or injured. They included an introductory message in the video. Watch it again with this in mind. It is very powerful.
And the vulnerability of Mary’s voice after 4 powerhouse males is such a kick in the face! In a good way! She shines without having to out-sing anyone just because her voice is so pure and crystalline. And ending on her voice after the insane harmonies was brilliant. Just brilliant.

You should watch "Lost on You" by Scott Hoying and Mario Jose - it's a brilliant mashup of "Lost on You" by LP and the Hans Zimmer score from Inception!

Mary has been to the top of the charts when Macklemore and Ryan Lewis used her song "She Keeps Me Warm" as the anchor of their track "Same Love". For a completely different feel, though, look up her video for "Secrets". Fun and wonderful! As you said, Brian was on America's Got Talent and AGT: The Champions. You MUST watch his rendition of "Creep" but also make sure to check out his cover of "Never Enough". Mario has quite a few songs on RUclips, but some of my favorites are when he sings with a band called "Postmodern Jukebox." - try the PMJ version of Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" with vocals by Mario and India Carney. As others have pointed out, the members of this quintet are all out and proud members of the gay community. One of the reasons that I love this track so much is that the day of the Pulse Nightclub massacre, June 12, 2016 was also the day that I came out to the world after almost 60 years in hiding. My greatest shame is that it took such a massive tragedy to make me stop hiding my true self.
The beauty of those runs that Mitch does in the background of this song - gets me every time.
They dedicate this song to the pulse night club shooting. All 5 singers are lgbtq+ and this song is our national anthem in my opinion. I love it❤️🏳️🌈

Mario was part of the crew on a ptx-tour. He's got singing lessons by avi and Mitch. As they were so proud of him, they let him open one of the concert and flew in his family as a surprise. It's in their movie.
Mario holds a vocal performance degree from Berklee College of Music and did not get lessons by Avi or Mitch. He is very good friends with Scott and all of PTX and loves & appreciates singing with them any chance he gets!
Mary is phenomenal. She got her big break with Macklemore in Same Love (if you haven’t heard, I HIGHLY recommend). Her song Secrets us great. I’ve been to see her twice in Seattle, she does spoken word poetry at her concerts as well & I can assure you it’s impossible not to cry. She’s an amazing human & advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. ❤️

Soooooo happy you did this one!!!!! Yes they're all amazing! Especially what this stood for. Mary was feat. on a couple Macklemore tracks & has a few albums of her own. She has a vevo. Her voice is so pure & melodic. Haunting almost. BJC is amazing, yes from AGT....his cover of Creep is entrancing! Mario has toured with PTX as one of their stage/production crew & even open for them. His duet/cover of Lost On You with Scott is breathtaking. Also he did collabs with Vincint Cannady that feat. couple other artists that give me chills every time. Have You Ever & One More Time. I'm so loving watching your journey!!! Keep enjoying!!!

The speechlessness at the end... that is exactly how I feel every time I hear/see this. It’s so powerful and the stripped down simple video allows their vocals and emotions to shine even brighter. Amazing.
One of my favourite parts of watching people react to this song is to see their faces when Brian starts his part. Most people don't recognise him and his voice is so damn powerful. My other favourite is people reacting to the harmonies at the end.
You are always so genuine in your reactions. Real emotions and your appreciation of the artists is a breath of fresh air. Some reactors keep looking at themselves fixing their hair, etc or even reading messages in their phones as if we can’t see them looking down.
I have been waiting for someone somewhere to acknowledge Scott’s hand/finger moves! He just can’t help himself LOL!

"LOST ON YOU" by Scott Hoying & Mario Jose which is breath-taking as well will blow your mind with their (especially Scott's) raw emotions... Scott was struck by the muses, asked Mario and created one of my favorite covers and nailed it although Scott had to sing while doing almost splits to compensate for his ridiculous tallness

If you already knew of Brian from AGT, you've probably already heard "Somebody to Love" and "Creep" - which are both jaw dropping - but he's done a number of things since. I love his "All I Ask/Believe" and he has an original, written by him, called "Circles" - you would appreciate both, I think :-)
