    Pricing rieally depends on location. I am in Central Mississippi. I have crocheted 48 yrs. My bunnies that are a lot of work and take me 3 hrs to make WILL NOT sell for more than $25 here. Even paying myself $8/hr plus yarn and accessories just wont sell. So it's up to you. I see all your experience and the dragons are beautiful. I would pay$70 just because you will a wonderful job. But here in Mississippi you wont sell it for $60

    I just made this dragon over the weekend. I made the sleeping dragon. I just love your color. I wasn't sure what I should charge for them. But I think at least $60.00 is not too much. I just don't want to overprice things, but yet we need to make something on our crochet. That is why we do it for the most part! Love your videos.

    Personally I use $15-20/hr plus materials. So for that project I would do a min of $60 on my labor plus materials which is probably at around $10-15 for the yarn, stuffing, eyes, etc.
    Id probably price him at $80 and hope the right person comes along. But only do one as an eye catcher and spend the majority of my time doing items that will at least pay me the $20/hr. Rate
    Pricing is so personal though and if you love to make them and you don't need that much per hour then you do you, ya know lol 😂

    Nice video, but if you purchase a pattern and don't like it, you shouldn't criticize it as much as you did with the Bee and Wasp, you are destroying another fellow crocheter's business and I feel it is unfair to them. If you don't like it either show it or not, end of story. Sorry, NOT sorry...that's my opinion, I will never watch your videos again.

    • @AntisocialAuntie
      @AntisocialAuntie 7 месяцев назад +3

      Disagree - I am a new crocheter and need people's honest feedback for patterns. In fact, if it's a paid pattern there is more of a right to critique. The free patterns are more of a "you get what you pay for".

    • @cottontailcrafts1719
      @cottontailcrafts1719  7 месяцев назад +3

      What I may not like another crocheter may not have issues with. I will always be honest on my channel just because I struggle doesn't mean someone else will.
