I got to tour oz with these guys and you could not find 5 more awesome dudes to hang with.. Johan got me so hammered in sydney for my b-day it took me 2 days to come back to earth... Great times....

These guys are awesome.
I met them once in Montreal. They were in a van after the show. They seemed pretty not interested to talk to us. So we said they were kick ass and let them be. Then I went on to talk to alexi from children of bodom. I was so stunned I just shook his hand and said you create awesome music and left.

amon amarth is in the elven languege (from the stories of tolkien) middle earth.
@mustafahotaki actually, christmas is an ancient viking tradition adopted (and partially "modified") by the christians. Originally its a big feast , celebrating that winter is soon over. When the vikings were converted to Christianity, they simply refused to give up this tradition, so the christians ended up with adopting it and thus calling it a ceremony to celebrate god, his son and holy whore. (yeah, i reciteded an Amon Amarth song right there! ;) )
