I would love to see a video tutorial on the with all my heart pattern. I love your videos they are so helpful... I'm looking to do a Valentines day afghan..... Thank you for your videos
I don't understand the concept of a hdc in the first ending corner. Cld you plz explain why it's not just a chain 2 like other corners? (I replayed the video and I heard your explanation, but I know I'll mess up and ch2 ...but really no one will know, shhh it's our little secret) Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas ~♡~
This is an alternative way to end the round. It places you in the middle of the corner and you can start the next corner right there. Opposed to slip stitching to the next ch1 space. Give it a try. Its really useful. I always use that method or some other form of it.
CynthiaNoel it is a very handy idea that I'll definitely try but since I've done it the other way for so long, I know I'll mess up, but it makes sense to me now. Thanks so much for the explanation
I'm with you, Cynthia. If I can end a round that way in a pattern, I always try to, even if the pattern doesn't call for it. I just have to make sure it works with the pattern. But it's way better than slip stitching to the next space. Or cutting the yarn and starting new in a corner. I've even used that method to change colors!
gloria phelan did you find the directions? If not, I'm gonna try and add a link, but since I've never done it before, I don't know if it'll work. Plz let me know if this helps... try to copy and paste the following in the search box thecrochetcrowd.com/crochet-baby-squared-blanket/
Rounds 3 & 6 in the pattern says to ch2 between the clusters (not at the corners) but you're doing ch3. Is the pattern wrong? The chart also shows ch2.
I noticed that too. While it's not what the pattern says, I've found that the number of chains effects the tension. I think he just forgot. If you have tight tension, the ch3 may work better than then ch2. It doesn't make a big difference.
I'm unsure. Maybe you can just take the pattern and divide it in half. I've not done this with this design yet. So I don't have the research and development completed to give solid advice.
gloria phelan there should be a little arrow or something right under the video that you can click to see more info. If you see that then scroll down and there should be a link that's in blue.
How to Crochet with The Crochet Crowd she was trying to open description box to find written pattern but cldnt find the triangle to click on in :the corner" so I tried to add the link in a different reply to her. I haven't seen a reply back as to whether or not she was able to find it
This video seems really rushed. I appreciate that it's an easy pattern but it seemed like he went through it much faster and with less explaination than usual.
Ah darnit! I don't mean to. Sometimes I know what I am doing and speed through without realizing not everyone is in my head space. I'm sorry about that.

Rita Miller I noticed that too. I think that it wld just make the white row a little tighter. It is weird how it still worked out though
CynthiaNoel you said what I was trying to, so thanks again
How do u do it in a shawl form?
