As per the information from temple authotities, this temple is more than 2000 years old.
Temple opens for Darsan and Pooja in the morning 06.30 am to 09.30 am. They will just light the lamp in the evening and there is no pooja.
Monkeys are fed by the temple.
There is a small reservoir behind the temple and there will be water, even in peak summer, they informed.
A place worth to visit and worship Devi.
Some 2 to 3 km from the main road,
Great place to have darshan and stress releasing place. Peacefull place to visit. Nice ambience. Good to go there with family. Should never miss a place like this. Presence of thousands of monkey around it. So keep distance with monkeys. If you dont distrub them, they will also not. Don't run away from them. But still you have to be careful about your belongings.
