I love Keanu's way of saying that giving his space to someone on the subway isn't something special. I really love Keanu Reeves but some people worship him and celebs too much. Their just people. If a normal person gave their seat no one would care but because its Keanu people lose their minds. I like how humble he is saying what he did isn't a big deal.
I agree with you for sure! They really are just people who happen to be elevated by the spotlight for their Craft.
There is Absolutely an Unhealthy "Worship" like "Idols" towards them (this is different than being a fan, to clarify for anyone who's offended by my comment).
As with anyone there's a variety and uniqueness to each of their personalities (which of course is viewed through an altered lense for various reasons) and with their individualism means there's a variety of how they behave.
Despite or including this (depending on how you view it) some Celebs (just as with people in general) one can get a sense of what kind of person they are by observing them.
Keanu is someone who's kindness and humility comes through, everytime no matter the situation. There are a few like this, they all have 1 thing in common and that is Extreme Privacy.
Then there's the opposite of which exude the "Holier than though" or "I can do no wrong, love and adore me no matter what" ect...
All are similar to every type of person in society depending on behavior.
The full spectrum of this point I'm making actually (regarding whom they are as people) doesn't necessarily reflect in their art.
There are some Amazing Actors who seem to be good people with a ♥️ for Humanity but there are also Some who are Amazing that are the Opposite or Somewhere in the Middle. They're Dedicated to their Craft and within this "Worship" people get Mislead or Mixed up when it comes to Who they "Worship" really are.
One can be a fan of the art and talent without "Idolizing" gifted Actor's.

Only low IQ or impressionable banal shallow people think everyday deeds make Keanu special or great. Just a decent guy, does good things with his money, donats, good man for that

He's is another great example of the positive, humble and good person, who is Amazing at his craft that I was speaking about.
His qualities as a human being are evident when you observe him.
I wasn't aware that he said that but he's spot on. I think it furthers what is being said in this thread (as well as what many in society think about the unhealthiness) because he's lived it for what 40ish yrs.
I 🤔 there's no doubt that there are varying degrees of what is called being "a fan or fandom" which leads to Worship.
In Africa if you don't do it,your are a prick,it's like a rule, u have to give your seat for old people
The only franchise in the history of all movie franchises that just keeps getting better and better with each sequel. Thank you Keanu, Chad, David and the rest of the crew for such a beautiful franchise.

I realized Jake's progress as an interviewer is that making the actors comfortable is no longer the top priority, giving us the viewers great insights is. The question to Laurence was not easy and got his gears turning.
Chad explained the term 'stunt' so well and in such plain language. No wonder him and Keanu work so well, and no wonder his action choreography is so amazing

Hiroyuki Sanada is extremely talented. No matter the role or amount of time he is in a movie/series… his presence is felt and remembered! And frankly the man is POSITIVELY…. ABSOLUTELY…. DELICIOUS!!!😍😘

This guy is a fantastic interviewer and you can tell the cast enjoys his questions. Hiroyuki Sanada in my view doesn't get enough press, he's a phenomenal actor and was amazing in The Last Samurai.
When it comes to Keanu giving up his seat to a pregnant woman, he's right. That is a normal thing that anyone should do. The thing that impresses me about this is that he's riding subway. Such a normal, down to earth dude.
Laurance F. gave a meaningful answer for the first question. Great lesson for the reporter..
These interviews are incredible. And the respect the interviewer has with the whole cast is so satisfying to watch..
The director was a stuntman. Makes sense why the franchise is so awesome now. Always trust stuntmen to be hard workers

I do not understand why is this man not given the freedom of time, he makes the best interviews and always asks the most thought provoking questions with his input and insight. If only he had more time and make longer interviews. Fantastic job regardless Jake.

My rule in life is "repay kindness tenfold, repay aggrievances a hundredfold"
Rewatching the trilogy in preparation for Part 4, I’m really starting to notice a different perspective from the characters. Obviously we as the audience are routing for John as the main character. But the more time goes on and events unfold, I’m starting to wonder exactly how “good” or “honorable” John is within the respect and confines of the assassin underworld.
Now, of course he obviously has the respect and credibility that he gained from his past life. But as The Director stated in Chapter 3, the events between the first to third film only takes place within the span of about a month. That’s a lot of chaos happening in a small time all cause of John, whether he means to or not.
And then him pulling out all his favors at once, only to finally reach The Elder and later change his stance to finally go against The High Table, almost defeats the purpose of everything he went through. It basically went from him trying to get out of the life, being brought back in just for one revenge in the first movie, only for him to be pulled back in even deeper. And now, it’s almost like the events of Chapter 4 are gonna be like, he’s already in too deep, might as well do something.
I guess my question going into Chapter 4 is what is his motive now behind deciding to take on the High Table? Maybe it’s just the way Keanu Reeves plays John, but it’s still very hard to tell what John is thinking or what his intentions are by the way he communicates and how stoic and reserved he is throughout the films.
But idk. Am I over thinking all this? Or is anyone else perhaps starting to see this perspective?
Director of JW 4 would be the one to answer your question, maybe? I found your review interesting, and had me wondering too, like I need to rewatch back over when I get a chance to later in a few months, would be interesting to get your questions answers, hummm😮
