- Gogs revolves around a family clan of dumb, primitive and socially inept cavemen in a fantasy prehistoric Stone Age setting, and contained various toilet humour-based gags and gross out situations. It also featured their often comedic daily struggle for survival, and attempts to advance their technology and society, and often failing miserably.
After years of searching my dormant memory has finally gifted me the name of this show whilst in a drunken state!
I remember watching this with my dad in the late 90s.

I love this. With no overpowering music and very little "words", it lets people really pay attention to all that goes on -like cartoons from way back when. Quite entertaining!

The bit at 41:42 scared the crap out of me so badly when I was about 4/5 years old I had nightmares for ages about it. Just thought about and remembered this show existed 30 years later thinking I must have imagined it. Turns out I didn’t just imagine it and it’s even scarier than I remember!

I think it was this show... one episode had a scary as fuck possessed old man with white eyes who was attacking other characters. It was terrifying to see as a child and it haunted me. I’m still getting creeped out just thinking about it. Fuck this show

Did “The Gogs” series air on ABCkids circa 1998! If I remember correctly it played right after Kidz in Room 402 or something of that name.
Yes omg I was so stoked about that I had not seen that since the late 80's early 90"s . . . Ch10 had were viewing the shows, Totally Wild and Dare, Double Dare or Physical Challenge NOW THEY WERE GOLDEN DAYS FOR ME ❤️

For anyone who isn't Welsh, this is a Welsh tv show and Gogs is a real life name for people who are from North Wales. It's short for Gogledd which means North. Obviously some Hwntws from South Wales made this.

Total gross out humor I loved as a kid and still do hehe. Aired first in the UK later on American television shows such as midnight express and Adult swim.
This was one of my favorite shows growing up as a kid. Awesome.

I hoped I would never find this weird show again.
I think it's creepier and more grotesque than anything they've shown in Courage the Cowardly Dog or The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
Respect to the folk that watched and liked this. Since I feel mentally stronger from Courage and The Grim Adventures, you folk must be on another level.
I think I've been left scarred by this show and have grown to hate stop motion animation because of it.
