if you had told me i would be posting this after deancas had just gone canon for the fourth time... i would have absolutely believed it because what even is going on anymore,,,
so, miss swift decided to make another album for dean and cas like the heller she is and of course i had to do something with it. the fact that currently every song talks about them is not helping either because i have like a million deancas videos planned in my head and evermore just added more to that snowball.
i miss them. longer description coming after i get some sleep because currently it's 7am and i havent slept at all bc sony vegas decided to be homophobic just like the cw.

Like I didn’t know the lyrics, but when I finally figured it out my brain CRASHED and I had a love crisis

I love the 10 seconds from 1:51 to 2:01 that goes from a spinning feeling from s8 Purgatory (One for the money, two for the show) to The Rupture "breakup scene" (I never was ready, so I watch you go) followed by s15 Purgatory transition to the plea in Goodbye stranger (Sometimes you just don't know the answer 'Til someone's on their knees and asks you). So well done.

This part utterly broke me.
First because of the first half of that paragraph, referring to 'the rapture', the heartbreak between these two after what happened to Mary... How unfair it all was.
And then.
The second part of the lyrics and the images you picked so brilliantly, just hit me so hard, even more. That masterpiece of a transition you did, seeing the smile exchanged between Dean and Cas, thinking they were close to solace, but then showing us Sam alone and grieving, as well as the bunker being turned off... In an instant, you put us all through so much emotion.. that was such a painful reminder of what Sam had to survive. No wonder the bunker was left out, it was no longer a home, only an empty shell full of ghosts, the ghost of those who were once family...
The utter loneliness and sense of longing, the... despair Sam must have felt all this time...
They really chose that title well, uh...
Anyway my heart beat so hard when seeing (so many times now) this moment, what a perfect match with the lyrics, one among so many, you just became the God of editing with this song, my Jack!!
Just like Dean, you leave us all speechless in the face of your talent
