[Tell me this ain't one of the most epic love stories in recent television history. I dare you.]
This is nothing special. It was never intended to be special. This is my way of coping with whatever the f that last episode was. So many past moments have so much more depth now, it's crazy and I highkey love it. I'd love to directly dive into the next project, a deancas video from Dean's point of view, but I will wait for the finale.
I'm very anxious and excited at the same time when thinking about that. I really hope they won't let us down. I don't need more explicit scenes, I just want Cas to be alive at the end. Please let him be alive.

The greatest love story ever told indeed! I haven't seen this much intensity and development between two characters in a movie/series. It's too bad.

This is how I see their relationship. I don't think it was love at first sight. I think that each time they saved the other, they were friends. They saw their importance in their life and went through anything to get them back or save them. Then when they realized that, they became family. They were a part of something that kept them alive and fighting and saving the world. That without each other, it felt like something was missing or didn't feel right. And finally, it became something more. Something that went farther than feeling something missing. It felt like they were gone. Like their whole being was nothing if the other wasn't in their life. That they made them who they are today and if it wasn't for them, they wouldn't have found a home.
Cas was just the first one to realize it.

Years before s15 I wouldn't believe what I am about to say: They made destiel canon but they still robbed us.
The one with the crack in his chest... The one who saved Dean Winchester. The one who stuck with him even through the pain. Our castiel
this was phenomenal! I loved all of it but I especially loved the way you used quotes that don't get used so often like cas' "i"ve begun to feel" and anna's "it gets worse" and I don't think I've ever seen that meg quote used in a vid, that was truly inspired!
It is 4:30 a.m. and I should be asleep but no. I'm here. Crying over fictional characters in a edited video on RUclips. I want Cas to come back. I want Dean to tell him he loves him too.
12 years of development, some missteps and mistakes, but no series or movie has such good development in the relationship between two characters
It has been a long 12 years, 15 years if we think about the duration of supernatural, in which acceptance towards the lgbt community changed a lot
Destiel has been one of the best stories about the feelings of two characters, a story so wonderful that it was accidentally told, but still the writers did not know how to take advantage of it and close it as they should, even so, castiel's confession was beautiful.
The emotionless angel who fell in love with a human, and a human with so much love for everyone but with infinite hatred for himself.
It was a pleasure to follow this story with you.

god knows how much deancas/spn fanmade videos ive watched over the course of the last few months, but you're the first one ive seen that make it look so artistic. its so aesthetically pleasing to look at, and the way you pace the scenes and intertwine the clips together from start to finish is so cinematic. everything that you do is just so goddamn beautiful: the editing, the chosen clips for the music, the way you let some parts of the video breathe by staying in it longer instead of just constantly cutting to different scenes, and even the thumbnails are so beautiful. keep on editing my dude

I have watched the scene where Cas gets taken by the Empty so many times. I got misty-eyed during the love confession, but while watching 15x18 for the first time, it was the absolute dead silence at the very end of the episode that killed me. Dean just sits there on the floor with this dead look in his eyes, ignores his brother's distress call, and cries in an empty room, because he just lost the love of his life. I'd bet anything that for all the time he spent in Hell, 40 years, I think, no torture he endured hurt as badly as losing Cas - he's lost Cas before, and yeah, that hurt him, but this time, deep down, he knows it's permanent. I hope Jack didn't let Cas suffer in the Empty. I hope he brought him back. And I hope they found each other in Heaven again. Because there is no way losing the love of your life to the embodiment of death and darkness does not leave you hurting in a way that can't ever be healed.

Amazing video. Really wonderful job. I agree with the top comment. I don't think it was love at first sight either. They started out as reluctant allies and that blossomed into friendship which then became something more. It continued to grow each season until it became love. With everything both always had going on, neither really took the time to realize or understand how deep their connection was. They mourned each other when one was gone but never really grasped the truth when reunited. With that confession in 15x18, Cas finally voiced his feelings. That he loves Dean. That he changed because of him and cared because of him. All that's left is for Dean to reciprocate. Hopefully the writers do 12 years of this amazing connection justice in the final episode.

I think it's completely one-sided when you have common-sense, but the fact that Castiel feels it seems real to me. And this is a great vid.
Oh this would have been such a nice comment if you hadn’t used the words “common sense” as if everybody who ships them must be unhinged. Maybe you didn’t mean this pejoratively, but it certainly read like it. I don’t care if people ship them or not; of course for me personally it’s clear as day that there is something bigger between these characters than just plain solidarity. But if you can’t see it - that’s fine, I respect that. It’s not as if they make it obvious. But please respect other opinions too. Don’t look down on others only because they see something you don’t.

I really hope that this isn’t the end for Dean in Cass I mean It’s like it’s just started only to end at the very least I hope at some point in time there’s another season or something And they explore more of their relationship I think that’s one of my biggest hopes for this couple I just want them to get the happiness they deserve
