I'm not an Igbo person, but I'm seriously impressed by everything I've watched in this video. Kudos to the indigenes of this beautiful place; it's a clear example of what can be achieved when a community comes together. Unlike other places where the rich have built their mansions, but completely neglect the surrounding environment in which those mansions are situated, Abiriba is different. This is a place where the people love and take pride in their town. And it's plain for all to see; from the smooth, well maintained roads, to the library, the schools and general cleanliness all over. Well done for shining a spotlight on this secretive oasis. Other places in Nigeria can learn so much from Abiriba.

impressed with what i see of Abiriba, but the perfectionist in me sees a few little things that if done would make the villa look even better. like you said, there is a communal effort to plan the villa well. this should be extended to ensure ALL inner roads are done well and uniformly with a well trimmed grassy set-back of about ten meters on either side (space permitting). all the roads should be swept clean regulary so there's no sand/sediment build-up. all the roads should have streetlights installed. where space permits, trees can be planted uniformly to improve ambience. they should try and clear a communal space for a small park where families, friends and visitors can go to chill and where events can be held. and finally, they should invest more in their primary and secondary schools as from what i'm seeing they look a bit neglected. that being said, they should be commended on what they've achieved so far.

The usual social media noise. Mansions that they don't live in. Most of the houses are empty, and some of them, no one ever lived inside, not even for a day...At any rate, of all the 5 states in the South East, none of them is economically viable, what is the purpose of the mansion?
@chinedunwafor6110 metropolis! Those houses are built by the indigenes of that village who live elsewhere for their livelihoods. These are built on ancestorial lands.
Small London??? You sound like you have not even left Nigeria.....lol. Nice houses. What I find comical is so many big houses but bad roads. Abiriba is a village. A village is not defined by mansions or mud huts.
Beautiful mansions built with hundreds of millions of naira probably with fancy cars but no sense by these mansion owners to come together and contribute money to tar the roads. Community effort is zero and when it rains , I can imagine how bad the roads will be. In spite of these mansions , Still a low or poor standard of living. What a pity.
You want to see the only negative side of Abiriba, but you're now disappointed. All those places you see are new layout, and you do expect more people there. As for the roads l can tell you that 80% of their roads are tarred by individuals and age grade
Is a village, not a commercial town. The owner doesn't do their business there. If you go to any residential area in the biggest cities of the world at a certain period and time everywhere looks like a ghost-time okay? Even ghettos.
He's not making any sense. I live in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world - downtown is always bubbling but residential areas look empty and quiet at certain times, never noisy though because residents respect themselves and others. Do their things quietly at their homes.

I am a togolese but i love igbos too much but my problem is I wonder what igbos are still doing in lagos with all the discrimination you face why don't you bring your businesses home and force people to come to you that way you will be independent even without any struggle
Please show us their hospital in this small London. Please show us their primary schools in this small London. Please show us the roads and highway, power supply networks, water supply networks. Please how come people don't live in this small London. Wasted money and wisdom.
Orlu people should learn something from abiriba, having money yet no vision to beautify their home
@GGAG FARM TV Please stop calling Abiriba "Small London" I cannot imagine Dubai calling itself "Small London" . This is "Abiriba" This Town is Outstanding. what it means is that,i t is independent. Abiriba has made her own name.
It is belittling and restrictive to call it another name.
No services only wasteful structures
Abariba village not town!
This place can't be a village, are u trying to tell me that it's only the indigenes are living here
@@chinedunwafor6110 yes! 99% few teachers and some medical professionals from outside. The building 100% except government agencies. Igbos love properties but not on other people's villages because rentings are almost free in some cases. as long as you can keep the company clean that is enough fir most owners.
@@chinedunwafor6110
Why is it not a village? Just because you have mansions doesn't mean that it is no longer a village.
@chinedunwafor6110 Yes and no! Is the only indigenes that built the homes, of course, it can't be only indigenes but the number of non-indigenes is insignificant just as even the most remote villages. None of those outsiders own a home there.
@@thetruth6396you lie. In Abiriba you can see many people even non nigeria living in Abiriba. Do you know Agbor court, Nchiyi layout are dominanted by non indigene
But why are they building close 😂roads, people should learn to build in and not building close to the streets
Everything was looking great until you showed the school!!!! Sad for such a community
Please try and be trying does that always telling igbos to go back to there place that here there seeing is village ok let hawusa or Yoruba show us there village not city Nigerian is blessed but evil politicians that always using tribes to cause problems sometimes I asked myself how can you and I are using one passport and you will get minds ttelling me to go back to my place
The usual social media noise. Mansions that they don't live in. Most of the houses are empty, and some of them, no one ever lived inside, not even for a day...At any rate, of all the 5 states in the South East, none of them is economically viable, what is the purpose of the mansion?
Build one before u classify them as noise. Poor Yoruba mob
The fine mansions pain you wella 😂.
Typical yoruba mentality. I'm 100% sure that you are yoruba.
A town doesn't mean a developed area.
What does a town mean?
@@chinedunwafor6110 a place with business activities.
@chinedunwafor6110 metropolis! Those houses are built by the indigenes of that village who live elsewhere for their livelihoods. These are built on ancestorial lands.
Please stop attaching 'london' to beautiful things in Africa. The African continent is so beautiful in the first place. Why London?
sweet Jesus, the house is pooo. Is the Architect blind, is he actually an architect. Listen stop designing dooodooo
Small London??? You sound like you have not even left Nigeria.....lol. Nice houses. What I find comical is so many big houses but bad roads. Abiriba is a village. A village is not defined by mansions or mud huts.
Why are you calling this town “ small London and Buginham palace? Why can’t Nigeria be Nigeria? You guys need to decolonize your mindsets.
Man your video is very poor, we never saw the buildings you were talking about
Beautiful mansions built with hundreds of millions of naira probably with fancy cars but no sense by these mansion owners to come together and contribute money to tar the roads. Community effort is zero and when it rains , I can imagine how bad the roads will be. In spite of these mansions , Still a low or poor standard of living. What a pity.
You don't know Abiriba,we don't experience erosion or any rubbish.
We have good drainage system.
The roads are tarred too
You want to see the only negative side of Abiriba, but you're now disappointed. All those places you see are new layout, and you do expect more people there. As for the roads l can tell you that 80% of their roads are tarred by individuals and age grade
How does your own village look like for you to find fault about our only small London in Africa
You have a rotten sense and vision. Did you watch this video before commenting? You have a serious problem. Show us your village.
Bro you vedio nothing
Beautiful but it’s been occupied by rodents and rats
*son
Empty town what a shame
It is not an empty town bro...those areas are new sites OK
Are u normal, those are vacation homes
Is a village, not a commercial town. The owner doesn't do their business there. If you go to any residential area in the biggest cities of the world at a certain period and time everywhere looks like a ghost-time okay? Even ghettos.
He's not making any sense. I live in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world - downtown is always bubbling but residential areas look empty and quiet at certain times, never noisy though because residents respect themselves and others. Do their things quietly at their homes.
These are country homes. The owners also have better homes where they live.
