Having said all that (below) I love this 70's song by Julian Covey - A little bit hurt. Pity it's not availably on a Free Karaoke download - otherwise I'd probably destroy it. Mick C. (International Karaoke super-star)
Another great dance record nicked by those who think they created dance music and categorised it under @ Northern Soul, which seems to have originated in the early 70s. In reality us Southerners (London etc,) were dancing to most of the so called Northern Soul songs back in the 1960s (Like the Nitty Gritty by Shirley Ellis or You read now by Franki Valli of the Four Seasons). So, when the Northerners learned to dance in the 70s they started to catch up with our Funk Soul music and pretend, to this day, that it's a Northern thing! Mick C. Ex-South London Mod from the 60s.

We didn't label it as northern soul. Another bitter southern softie. Mark a 70s soul boy still doing it now. You're ready now? Disco youth club shite.
You hurt me baby. Sound
Am a Big FAN of the lady in gold dress KTF David from Scotland
