Kiowa are bad ass I've seen them work in real life. DCS is excellent, landed at Kandahar AB, I recognize the flight line building and the TLS building and the poo pond.

Damn one day...one day...what gpu is this..has to be a 4090 ...stuck with a gtx 1650 but its been great so far on cosmic ..pop os.

There is no way you can fly a helicopter in DCS with the keyboard.
I have a friend flying with xbox controller.

Playing DCS with keyboard and mouse is like trying to drive a manual transmission car without legs and arms
I use a controller with back paddles, Have been for a few years successfully
No battle\mission, just flying, typical DCS.
Just flying is fun! Especially since DCS is probably the most physically accurate (commercially available) helicopter sim you can fly.
